Late iconic athlete Kobe Bryant was duly honored at the recently concluded Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame ceremony. While he was posthumously celebrated, his daughter, Natalia, and wife, Vanessa, made it an unforgettable affair.
The pair stood elegant as always, showing off their unique mother-daughter relationship while representing the basketball legend at the Tip-off Celebration and Awards Gala.
During the occasion, Natalia stepped forward to receive her dad's ceremonial bright orange honorary coat which was synonymous with the Hall of Fame. The youngster was not alone as her mom showed moral support.
After they were presented with the coat alongside other Hall of Fame inductees, Vanessa put the jacket on her daughter, who rocked a polka dot Dolce and Gabbana dress.
In a series of photos, shared on both Vanessa and Natalia's Instagram pages, fans watched the play of emotions as they honored Kobe. The Naismith Hall of Fame ceremony came a little over a year after Kobe lost his life in a helicopter mishap.
Regarding the celebration for him, the pre-Hall of Fame event included an exclusive exhibit of many outstanding moments in Kobe's decorated sports career. During his lifetime, he was a five-time NBA champion and an 18-time NBA All-Star.
Vanessa noted that what keeps her going is inspiration from her children.
The Hall of Fame exhibit was a family affair with Vanessa and her daughters gracing the occasion. The star mom posted more photos on her Instagram page presenting her tiny tots being delighted.
In one post, little Capri looked adorable, posing close to one of her dad's life-size photos. She donned a two-piece Mambacita tie-dye outfit and flashed a big smile.
Her immediate big sister Bianka also donned the fashion piece while she posed with daddy's outlined memorabilia. In one of Vanessa's uploads, she also posed near her husband's photo, where it seemed like their noses touched.
In January 2020, Kobe died in an aircraft crash in Calabasas alongside his daughter, Gianna. Other student-athletes and their parents numbering up to seven, including the pilot, also died.
