ET Online: Mama June & Her Daughters Get Candid About Their Relationship Following Her Rehab Stint
Mama June Shannon talked about her relationship with her daughters Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird after she completed her rehab program.
A recent interview with reality stars Mama June Shannon and her daughters Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird gave Entertainment Tonight a perspective on the famous family.
Mama June once battled drug addiction, which caused them to hit a rough patch. According to Mama June, she and her daughters have repaired their relationship and are still striving to make it better each day.

Even though the situation has been complex and challenging, it's much better now, Honey Boo Boo shared. The 15-year-old added that it seems their mother has finally put them at the forefront.
On the other hand, Pumpkin informed the outlet that they had observed some significant changes in Mama June. Now, their mother tells them constantly that she loves them. Pumpkin said:
"So, it's definitely like a completely different person, even like, pre-addiction."

Mama June said she feels that the end of their time on reality television is near. They've been followed by cameras for ten years now. Pumpkin also expressed her belief that the family will exit reality TV soon.
In her words, food is always there for her, even during her most stressful moments.
Mama June returned to the airwaves with a new season of their hit show in February. In "Mama June: Road to Redemption," the star tries to restore her family's trust while getting honest about how sober she is.
As Pumpkin said in the clip, her mom is just looking forward to things returning to the way they used to be. But there are a few snags. Mama June has to work hard if she wants to get back in her family's good books.
Meanwhile, Honey Boo Boo suffered a shock when she received news about her health on May 21. Dr. Blaney informed her that if she has diabetes, she will need to have it controlled.
Her doctor has advised her to lose weight to control her condition. Before the lab test, Honey Boo Boo confessed she loved hot dogs, pizza rolls, and chips. Dr. Blaney said overeating carbohydrates could be harmful.

Meanwhile, Pumpkin revealed last month that she is pregnant with her second child with her husband, Joshua Efird. Currently, the couple has a 3-year-old daughter named Ella Grace.
