Kate Middleton Wears an All-Camel Look to a Royal Engagement – See Her Tartan Scarf & Hamilton & Inches Earrings

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in an all-beige outfit during her recent public appearance on her second-day outing on a royal tour with her husband, Prince William.

Kate Middleton wore an all-camel look to a royal engagement in Orkney alongside her spouse Prince William. The royal couple attended the opening of a new hospital.

“Opening the new Balfour Hospital Kirkwall. Thank you to all staff that came out to meet us,” the Cambridges wrote on their Twitter page.

CAMEL LOOK

They posted a 20-second video that shows Irish men in their gear playing musical instruments while standing outside the building.

It then shifts to the pair walking inside the hospital, where they appeared to be engaging with some of the patients and health workers.

The footage shows Prince William and his wife, and the rest of the medical staff applauding as the cameraman zoomed into the medical sign with the words written:

"Balfour Hospital opened by their graces the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Earl, and Countess of Strathearn Lord High Commissioner 2021, Tuesday, May 25, 2021."

For the occasion, the Duchess donned an all-tan ensemble by paring a long camel Massimo Dutti coat with tan trousers and a tan sweater. She added a touch of a bright accent and opted for a red tartan scarf.

The scarf is a significant nod to her Scottish title, including her dazzling earrings by Hamilton & Inches, from a Scottish brand. The 39-year-old accessorized with a matching tan clutch and heels and wore dangle earrings. She styled her long brunette hair half up and half down.

TARTAN STYLE

Middleton has been known for her love of tartan fashion statements. On January 25, she wore a plaid coat dress for a Burns Night event.

The mom of three completed her look with Simone pearl earrings. She joined her husband in sending a special video message to key health workers at NHS Tayside.

FASHION TRIBUTE

Middleton recently switched up on her fashion style and decided to pay tribute to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana by wearing a similar royal blue two-piece look for one of her royal outings.

The Duchess sported an all-blue outfit matching a blazer with a midi skirt. Middleton carried a mini clutch as the attire was similar to the outfit worn by the princess in 1992. While the Princess of Wales wore coordinating shoes, her daughter-in-law opted for a beige pair.
