Woman Goes Missing After Riding a Car with Other People in Times Square
Police reports indicated that Christine Hammontree, a 29-year-old woman from Maine, is missing. She was last seen entering a vehicle heading to New York Times Square.
One of the worst experiences that a family can have is looking for a missing loved one. Grappling with thoughts of the worst scenario and hoping for a happy ending can be traumatic for everyone involved.
That may be the situation the family of Christine Hammontree, a 29-year-old from Maine, find themselves in at the moment after she was reported missing.

On Thursday, the New York Police Department, in a tweet, announced that Hammontree was missing and requested that anyone with information about her whereabouts should come forward with such.
In its tweet, the NYPD said Hammontree was last spotted in front of 1515 Broadway in Manhattan on May 24 at about 2:10 am. It further wrote:
"She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, shorts, black flip flops, and an orange backpack. If you have any information contact @NYPDTips. ☎️ 800-577-TIPS."
According to reports, a surveillance video showed Hammontree at McDonald's in the Crossroads of the World. She was entering a car with a group of unidentified persons.
The police revealed that Hammontree's parents reported that she was missing on Tuesday. There was no specific description of the car she entered into or its occupants.
The missing woman had been visiting a boyfriend in the Big Apple.
Some reports state that the car Hammontree entered into was a yellow cab, and she was in the company of a man and two other women. No details were given about the cab driver and other passengers.
The police requested additional video footage and are waiting to get such. Once they have more specific details about the vehicle and its occupants, they will release it to the public.
According to Falmouth police Lt. Jeff Pardue, Hammontree formerly lived in New York. However, she moved in with her parents in Falmouth. The missing woman had been visiting a boyfriend in the Big Apple.
Reports described Hammontree as a five feet nine inches woman with brown eyes. Besides the blue T-shirt, she was also wearing aviator sunglasses.

Hope remains that the missing woman whose story continues to dominate will be found in good condition, after all a woman who had been missing since 2020 was recently found living in a tent in Utah.
