A similar incident occurred a few months earlier in New York's Stop and Shop at Long Island. The suspected shooter Gabriel DeWitt Wilson was taken into custody after a four-hour manhunt.
All victims of the shootout happened to be employees of the store. One of them, a 49-year-old man, died while two were severely injured, but we're responding to treatments.
Gladly, Wilson could be apprehended because he had been seen by witnesses at the store who could identify him. Also, he had employment ties to Shop and Stop making it easier for his identification.
