Brave Grandmother Interfered with Gunman Before Her Death at Florida Publix Shooting
A 69-year-old grandmother and her grandsons were the victims of a shooting that took place in a Publix in Florida. After shooting the victims, the gunman also took his own life.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the tragic deaths of a grandmother and her one-year-old grandson after a shooting in a Publix.
The authorities have spoken to more than 30 witnesses on the scene and have looked at CCTV footage that captured the incident, revealing that the 69-year-old woman did everything she could to stop the shooting.

BRAVE GRANDMOTHER
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office took to Twitter to share the information they have so far. The post detailed what happened at the time of the shooting as they wrote:
"The grandmother interferes with the gunman and because of her brave actions, his gun jams. After some struggling, he then ends up shooting the grandmother."
Unfortunately, the 69-year-old woman, her grandson, and the gunman passed away after the shooting. The suspect was identified as 55-year-old Timothy J. Wall but the identities of the two victims have not been released.

RANDOM SHOOTING
The shooting has gained plenty of attention because of the random location and lack of motive. The authorities and the suspect's family shared that Wall struggled financially and with his mental health.
A group of people was standing outside a home when a vehicle pulled up and the individuals inside opened fire.
Maia Knight, Wall's former sister-in-law, revealed that the suspect struggled with schizophrenia and was not receiving the necessary help for his condition.

FACEBOOK WARNING
Before walking into Publix last week, Wall demonstrated strange behavior before and posted on Facebook that he wanted to kill people. Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said:
"He has said, ‘I want to kill people and children.' He's got friends. Obviously, they saw that. His ex-wife said that he has been acting strange."
Bradshaw expressed his anger about the people closest to the suspect not speaking out about the red flags that they saw. Nobody alerted the authorities about the potential danger that Wall presented.
