Jaclyn walked past the pet store every day on her way to work, and the last time she made her way down the street past the store, she noticed a parrot perched on a stick outside the door.

Initially, she smiled when she saw the colorful bird sitting, but then the parrot started speaking to her, and she wasn't too happy to hear what he had to say to her.

As she walked past the parrot, he called her closer, and when she stopped to see what he wanted to tell her, he cocked his head to the side and said:

"Hey lady, you are really ugly!"

Shocked and embarrassed, Jaclyn spun around and left for work in a huff, trying to ignore what the parrot had just told her. When she got to work, she went straight to the bathroom to check her appearance before going to clock in.

The next day, Jaclyn saw the parrot perched on the same spot and hoped that today he would have a different story to tell her, but lo and behold, he called her closer and once again told her how ugly she was.

On the third day, Jaclyn went straight into the store without giving the parrot a chance to say anything and threatened to sue the place if they didn't get their bird to stop slandering her.

The following day, the lady walked up to the bird with confidence. The parrot cocked its head and was ready to chat with Jaclyn again. He leaned in and said:

"Hey lady... I don't have to say it, you already know."

On a different occasion, Jaclyn was one of the adults who volunteered to supervise school children on a field trip. She heard them discussing the fire truck that just passed them and the Dalmation that was seated on the front seat.

Some children said the dog was there to help keep the people away when the firefighters arrived on the scene, and others said he was good luck before one girl turned around and said:

"Guys, they use the Dalmation to show them where the fire hydrant is."
