Daily Joke: 2 Doctors Are in the Main Hall of a Psychiatric Hospital

This joke is about two doctors who are in a mental asylum and are doing their rounds as usual when they notice a patient that doesn’t seem as though he needed to be in a mental institution.

Being a doctor in a mental institution must be challenging to see so many different patients with varying degrees of mental illness, but bringing patients to a level of wellness in which they can live out in the world on their own must be rewarding.

However, if you are not the usual doctor for those patients, things might not be exactly what they seem and you could make a couple of innocent mistakes.

However, if you are not the doctor that has been helping the patients, you will not know their specific needs, which is exactly what happened in this mental institution when two doctors were assigned the duty of looking after the psychiatric ward.

The doctors came on to duty and saw two patients who believed they were driving cars. They were obviously not driving cars as they were indoors and in a psychiatric ward, but it made sense for them to believe they were driving cars because they were there.

The doctors then noticed a third patient who did not seem to think he was driving a car and was instead sitting quietly and not doing anything. They immediately assumed this man could not be mentally ill and should be checked out of the psychiatric ward.

However, once the doctors had freed the man from the psychiatric ward, believing he was there because there was a misunderstanding, the man started to exhibit strange behaviors. He began acting as if he, too, was driving a car.

The doctors confronted the man and asked why he was acting this way and told him that they thought he was normal. The man’s response was simple: “How was I supposed to turn my truck around in there?”

You must empty the bath as quickly as you can, and the instrument you choose determines if you need the psychiatric ward.

A woman went to a psychiatric hospital and asked how they determined who would need to be admitted and when this experiment was explained to her, she remarked that only people who didn't need to be admitted would choose the bucket as it was the largest instrument with which you could empty the tub.

The doctor then informed her that they knew who would be admitted because a sane person would know that the fastest and easiest way to empty a full bathtub would be to simply pull the plug. He then asked the woman if she would like to reserve a bed by the window.
