A video posted to Reddit shows a boy coming to the aid of a sheep that found itself in a dire situation. The animal was stuck in a narrow ditch and needed human intervention to escape.

The boy reached down into the ditch and managed to get hold of the sheep's leg. He pulls the leg, and with some tugging and pulling, the sheep is free from the tight space and free to run away.

BACK TO THE SAME POSITION

After being released from the boy, the woolly animal runs away with plenty of energy, but a few moments later, the sheep jumps into the air and flies down into the ditch that it was freed from a few seconds before.

A truck driver passing by saw the camel lying next to the side of the road and decided to pull over.

The boy is left in disbelief as the animal he just pulled out of a terrible situation seemingly chose to return to the ditch it was found in without a hint of hesitation.

GOING VIRAL

The footage showing the kid and the strange actions of the sheep went viral on Reddit. It gained some traction with more than 1,900 views and more than 40 comments on the post.

The viewers couldn't help but comment about the sheep's choice to return to the position of being stuck in the ditch. Some even related to the animal's actions, as one user wrote:

ANOTHER STUCK ANIMAL

Another Reddit post showed another animal that required some help after getting itself into a sticky situation. The footage taken in Ooty, Tamilnadu shows a cow that became entangled with the rope that it was tied to.

The large animal was lying down, the rope keeping it to the ground. A kind passerby stopped to detangle the cow, lifting the rope off of its horns and allowing it to get up and move freely once again.

A CAMEL IN NEED

A dromedary, an Arabian camel, also needed some assistance after struggling to survive in the extreme heat of the Arabian desert, with the temperatures reaching 140 degrees.

A truck driver passing by saw the camel lying next to the side of the road and decided to pull over and see if he could lend a helping hand. He took the animal water, which it drank with evident thirst, and managed to leave the camel a better state.
