Woman Mocks Cop Who Stopped Her for Texting While Driving
A woman dubbed a "Karen" went viral after video footage captured her rude behavior towards a cop. The TikTok post had users mad at the woman.
One of the most important rules while driving is not to use the phone. However, many still choose to break the law and cause road accidents, some taking the lives of others.
Recently, a police officer pulled over a woman caught texting while driving. A now-viral TikTok video of the woman mocking the cop and answering back had social media users calling her out.

After pulling her over, the officer explained that he saw the woman driving through the entire street while on the phone and with her little daughter in the back seat, no less. However, the woman replied:
"Nothing else to do in your [expletive] day, do you?"
The woman continued to respond rudely, calling the cop "dude" and "bro." When the officer called her out, the woman said she didn't care and would call him whatever she wanted.

The woman continued to disrespect the cop, even calling him "butterfingers" as he accidentally dropped a pen and claiming he made everyone unsafe on the road.
Chauvin was later found guilty at the Hennepin County Courthouse for second-degree manslaughter, second-degree unintentional murder, and third-degree murder.
Fortunately, the officer remained calm, did not fight the woman, and instead left her with a ticket. Nearly all comments on the post sided with the cop and called the woman responsible and privileged.
However, some TikTok users pointed out that the scenario would have been different had the woman been black. One comment read:
"I don't understand how people of color get shot while complying?!?"
Previously, another cop-related incident happened in Minneapolis when a white Brooklyn Center police officer, Kim Potter, accidentally shot Daunte Wright, a black man.

A former police chief claimed that Potter accidentally grabbed her handgun instead of the taser when Wright resisted arrest. Hours after Potter's detainment, she was released on a $100,000 bond.
Wright's attorney and advocates were quick to compare the 2017 case of the Black former Minneapolis cop, Mohamed Noor, who shot a white woman to protect his partner's life.
Unlike Potter, Noor was convicted of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, serving over 12 years behind bars. Many believe that race played a big part in both scenarios and their outcome.
"If the officer was Black, perhaps even a minority man, and the victim was a young, white female affluent kid, the chief would have fired him immediately and [...] charged him with murder, without a doubt," Jaylani Hussein of the Council on American-Islamic Relations said.
Wright's passing happened as Minneapolis waited for the final verdict of Derek Chauvin's trial. He was among the officers involved in George Floyd's death.
Chauvin was later found guilty at the Hennepin County Courthouse for second-degree manslaughter, second-degree unintentional murder, and third-degree murder.
