Daily Joke: Scared Wife Calls Husband as Burglars Try to Break into Their House

A middle-aged couple, who had been married for more than fifteen years, decided to move into a new house. As a result, they started searching for the perfect house and eventually bought a beautiful and relaxing home with an exquisite view.

The couple was busy shifting all their belongings into their new house, and they also bought many new home essentials, including a few expensive furniture pieces and cleaning gadgets. Within a few days, the couple was fully settled into their new home and started to like the new neighborhood.

One sunny and peaceful morning, the couple was busy getting ready to go to work. Before leaving, they sat down and enjoyed a delicious breakfast that the wife had lovingly prepared. After eating, the husband noticed that his wife looked weak and tired.

"Are you alright, honey?" asked the husband.

"I don't know, but I think I'm not feeling well," replied the wife in a weak voice.

"Oh, then you should stay home today. Take some rest, and I'm sure you'll be fine," suggested the husband.

So the husband left for work, while the wife stayed home. But just when she was about to go to her bedroom and take a nap, she started hearing scary noises from outside. After some time, the noise became even louder, and it seemed as if someone was trying to break into the house.

Scared and not knowing what else to do, she grabbed her phone and dialed her husband's number. It rang for a while, after which her husband picked up the phone, and she began narrating what had just befallen her.

"There are two men standing outside," whispered the wife. "I think they are going to break into our house."

"If they force their way in, don't let them have anything good. Okay?" replied the husband.

"Okay, okay. I'll try my best!" uttered the wife in a panic.

"No television, no Xbox, none of my expensive shirts. Okay?" said the husband.

"Okay, okay!" cried the wife. "But, my goodness, Thomas. What if they are interested in sleeping with me?"

"That'll be fine. I said 'anything good,'" replied the husband.

Indeed, one should always be ready not to let the burglars steal anything good!
