Caitlyn Jenner may have accomplished a lot in her life, but she still wants to be California’s governor. She doesn’t want her high-profile family to get involved, though.

Former decathlete Caitlyn Jenner has been making headlines most of her life, including the time she won an Olympic gold medal and all the years she appeared on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

Now, she is running for governor of California. Although she will undoubtedly need as much support as possible, she asked her children to stay out of it for the sake of their businesses.

Jenner, 71, told Steve Hilton of the "California Rebel Base" podcast that she wanted to draw a line between her family life and political ambitions.

She admitted that her position as a Republican could negatively affect her kids' brands if they publicly endorse and support her, so she called each of them and told them to “stay out.”

Jenner pointed out that she would very much appreciate the KarJenner clan’s private support. Still, she wouldn’t request any favors, money, or even any Twitter or Instagram post about her campaign. She added:

“You know, politics can be a dirty business, and they have brands, they have all the other things that they’re doing, they have companies that they’re doing.”

It is important to point out that Jenner is not the only family member who recently got into politics. Kim Kardashian’s ex-partner, Kanye West, ran for president in 2020 but collected just 60,000 votes.

Speaking of Kardashian and West, they made headlines in February 2021 after the reality TV personality filed for divorce after being married for seven years.

Since then, they have never left the spotlight with reports of West asking her to contact him through his security team and Kardashian revealing he deserved a wife who supported all his moves.

Still, Kardashian supported West during the listening events of his latest album, “Donda,” and even wore a wedding dress to apparently recreate their vows. They are not back together, though.

Another member of the KarJenner clan who recently stole the spotlight was Kylie Jenner, as she announced she’s expecting her second baby with rapper Travis Scott. The most influential family in the world keeps growing!
