Rebel Wilson Celebrates 41st Birthday with Famous Friends on Marlon Brando's Private Island

Rebel Wilson celebrated her 41st birthday big time by taking her friends, including some of her “Pitch Perfect” co-stars, to Marlon Brando’s private island in French Polynesia.

Australian actress and comedian Rebel Wilson has been making headlines ever since declaring 2020 her “year of health.” She confessed that for a whole year, she would focus on improving her lifestyle.

At the time, her goal weight was 165, and she didn’t rely on surgeries or supposedly magic recipes. Instead, she combined a workout program with an eating plan called the Mayr Method. More on it later.

She started slowly by walking more, drinking more water, and avoiding sugar and junk food. It really helped that she kept posting about her journey on social media as her fans frequently showed support.

One of her posts worried some people, though, but she received positive messages in general. Eventually, personal trainer Jono Castano stepped in. With Castano, Wilson flipped tires, ran up and down the stairs, and trained with battle ropes.

As per the Mayr Method, its goal is to improve one’s health through digestion by eliminating food intolerance, reducing sugar, and eating whole foods.

Wilson also confessed that she used to eat a 3,000-calorie diet, mainly carbs, so she was constantly hungry. After starting her year of health, she changed to a high-protein diet.

The “Hustle” star also pointed out that the coronavirus pandemic made it possible for her to slow down and turn her bad habits into good, healthier ones.

Jacob Busch probably would have been invited, but he and Wilson parted ways.

Now, she’s showing off the results of her hard work on Marlon Brando’s private island. Wilson turned 41 in March, but she couldn’t celebrate it due to the pandemic.

The actress took the celebration to the stunning island in French Polynesia and invited her “Pitch Perfect” co-stars Anna Kendrick, Shelley Regner, Brittany Snow, and Chrissie Fit.

They are reportedly at the eco-friendly resort island doing everything from swimming and snorkeling to picnicking, throwing themed parties, and exploring nearby islands.

Wilson admitted to feeling lucky doing so many things with the people she loves, especially because “Rebel Island” – how they are calling the celebration – had been one of her dreams for years.

Jacob Busch probably would have been invited, but he and Wilson parted ways earlier this year, just four months after going public with their relationship.
