Woman Kicks Her Crying Husband Out of the Delivery Room

A new father had to stay in the hospital parking lot while his daughter was born because his wife kicked him out of the delivery room.

Before a woman delivered her first child, she and her husband talked about what would happen in the hospital. Since he was the kind who was easily stressed and over-reactive, being in the delivery room was a point to consider.

Still, the husband, Kevin, said that he could handle whatever would happen and would be positive throughout the delivery.

The big day came, and as preempted, Kevin went into panic mode. He was overwhelmed with the situation and continuously moved and fidgeted around the room.

When his wife experienced contractions, things worsened. While she was already stressed and in immense pain, her husband was red with a visible vein about to blow up his forehead.

Although it added to her stress, the wife decided to tolerate it. However, her husband began to cry, causing everything to go downhill.

The wife began yelling at him to stop several times as she started to panic. As a result, Kevin shouted back at her until the nurse stepped in. The mom-to-be immediately asked the nurse to get him out of the room.

The woman suffered from emotional and verbal abuse and was left alone after an argument amidst a storm.

Kevin did not return for a while and only saw his wife when she was discharged from the hospital. As expected, what happened turned into a big fight at home.

The husband was furious about being kicked out of the delivery room and missing his only chance to see his first daughter’s first moments.

He blamed his wife for being selfish in those moments and being cruel enough to have the nurses gang up against him. As a father, Kevin believed that he had the right to be in the delivery room no matter what.

Eventually, his wife asked him to stop arguing with her, and although he did, Kevin said he would never forget how he was robbed of the chance as a father.

The wife later unpacked her bag and found a small jewelry box with a necklace that had their daughter’s name on it. She felt awful knowing that her husband had it made for her to wear at the hospital, but instead, he ended up in the hospital parking lot.

Although the woman felt awful for what she did, many Reddit users reassured her that she was not selfish. One comment read:

“Not only did you not need him, he was upsetting you. That is the opposite of fulfilling your needs. In the end, who is in the delivery room is up to you.”

Similarly, another pregnant woman did not want her husband inside the delivery room because of their strained relationship. The woman suffered from emotional and verbal abuse and was left alone after an argument amidst a storm.
