Radio Host Shares Series of Voicemails Received from a Man Who Stood Her up for a Date

Many people have their own weird first date stories, but one woman’s account had the internet creeped out, even though it did not pull through.

Mason, a Dallas Radio host who goes by the TikTok name @masononthemic, recently went on the viral app to share what had happened when her date, Brad, didn’t show up.

According to Mason, she prepared for the date and got dressed up only to find herself alone in a restaurant for half an hour. It turned out that Brad never came.

Two hours later, Brad called Mason and claimed that he could not make it because his father was hospitalized. Brad called back shortly after and took back his initial excuse, admitting that he lied about his dad.

Already weirded out, Brad still managed to worsen Mason’s situation by leaving her five to six more voicemails, questioning why she hadn’t replied.

In one of his voicemails, Brad said that Mason hadn’t responded in over an hour, which he believes isn’t “very cool.” He added:

“I’ve talked to my friends, and they said I should have heard something from you by now. I know you’re busy with work and everything like that, but I just basically spilled my guts to you.”

Brad continued to add that it was unfair for him to be left hanging without a response from Mason. The following voicemails had Brad asking the radio host to call back.

At one point, he threatened to seek legal action against Mason should she post his recordings online. To make matters worse, Brad asked his mom to speak with Mason.

Recently, another man shared his dating story on the internet after a woman rejected him.

“Bradley and I had a lot of talks about how we treat people and how he knows that what he did was not right, and he acknowledges [that],” she said.

Mason seemed unbothered with the messages, but many TikTok users were concerned about her safety and welfare.

One suggested she file a restraining order against Brad and his mother as things escalated pretty quickly. Another person suggested that Brad may be psychologically challenged due to what had happened and his mother’s intervention.

Recently, another man shared his dating story on the internet after his date rejected him. However, what shocked him was the reason behind the refusal.

It turned out that the man, Jacques, used an expression that the date did not like and used it as a reason to cut ties.
