Britney Spears' Lawyer Slams Her Father & Demands Immediate Termination of Conservatorship
Britney Spears' attorney, Mathew Rosengart, had plenty to say regarding his client's conservatorship, and his words were especially directed at her father, Jamie Spears.
According to Rosengart, the conservatorship Britney has been under for the past 13 years no longer serves a purpose, which is why it should be immediately terminated.
Rosengart also claimed, in recent legal documents, that the singer should not be subjected to any medical evaluation and that Jaime's position as conservator should be dropped.

THE END OF THE NIGHTMARE
The attorney went on to say that his suspension is a "necessary first - and substantial - step" towards Britney's freedom from the "Kafkaesque nightmare" she has been forced to endure at her father's hands.
She is fully entitled to get married and "have a baby, if she so chooses."
Rosengart stated that Britney's life matters, and so does her well-being and that every day that goes by with Jamie clinging to his post is another day of "anguish and harm" to his daughter.
While Jamie's legal representatives refused to respond to Rosengart's words, the lawyer said his client will no longer be bullied and they have exposed Jamie's "efforts to obtain a quid pro quo payout."
UNDER INVESTIGATION
Not only that, he revealed that his firm is currently investigating Jamie for alleged "abusive conduct," which Britney has previously complained about.
Britney's next court hearing is scheduled to take place on September 29, and her attorney has requested for a temporary successor to be appointed unless Jamie acts with grace and agrees to resign beforehand.

The 69-year-old has filed to put an end to the conservatorship earlier this month, however, he is still the official conservator of his daughter, making him responsible for all the decisions.
It has been reported that the pop singer has had enough and wants to be able to make her own decisions regarding her medical care, as well as have full control over her finances without the need for supervision.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
Britney recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari, who proposed to her after being together since 2016. While there is still no date for the wedding, a prenup is already being worked on.
Since Jamie is still responsible for her estate, he is currently looking for a divorce lawyer to handle all the paperwork, adding that she is fully entitled to get married and "have a baby, if she so chooses."
