Socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein is known for her cat-like appearance. However, she denies any cosmetic surgery intervention and points to her Swiss roots as the reason for her “high cheekbones.”

After two decades without talking to the media, “Catwoman” Jocelyn Wildenstein spoke with the Daily Mail TV in 2018 alongside her partner, fashion designer Lloyd Klein.

The nickname was given to Jocelyn after she allegedly went through canthopexy, a surgical reposition of the corners of the eyes, giving her the cat-like appearance.

Klein goes on to say that he doesn’t understand the “Catwoman thing” because “Jocelyn has always looked like this”:

“She never really did anything to change her face. I have pictures from 16 years old where she looks exactly the same as today.”

When questioned whether she had any aesthetic intervention, she denied it. Jocelyn

she looks the same as her old photos when she was younger, “expect she was more beautiful,”

“When we are young there's a certain freshness we lose with the years. But you still find the same eyes, same high cheeks, or same nose. I think I was more pretty.”

Lloyd flattered her beloved partner by saying she is beautiful, magical — she has a lot more to offer than many women he knows in the fashion industry where he works as a designer. In other words, he sees and appreciates her beyond her physical appearance.

Despite her denial, Jocelyn’s looks began to change during her first marriage with the late art-dealing husband Alec Wildenstein, who passed away in 2008.

According to The Sun, Jocelyn has spent around $6.7 million in plastic surgery — and no, she does not look, not even slightly, similar to her younger self.

In the same article, an expert shared that she has had upper and lower eyelid surgery, a brow-lift, face-lift, lip-plumping injections, chin augmentation, fat grafting, and/or cheek implants.

Jocelyn has previously shared that in her previous marriage, she had done plastic surgery that didn’t please her ex-husband, so he went on a smear campaign on the media against her.

The couple divorced in 1999 and their settlement made Jocelyn one of the wealthiest women in America, with about $4 million in divorce payment plus around $100 million of yearly maintenance.

After the divorce, Jocelyn went on to date Klein. Despite some hiccups, they've been together for 17 years. However, in 2016, the couple went through a major fight.

When the police arrived, they found Klein covered with bruises and scratches on his face. Jocelyn scratched him with a scissor and she had bruises in her arms and neck. The altercation led to the couple's arrest.

Prior to this feud, the police were called by neighbors one day, at 1 a.m., after they heard screams coming from Jocelyn’s apartment. Lloyd later explained that the shattered casserole dish the police found when they arrived at the apartment was the cause of their injuries.

He said that Jocelyn threatened him but the two ended up having noisy sex, which was mistaken for an altercation. After the quarrels, Llyod gave a luxury “apology” gift to his partner — one 200 carat ring with diamonds and emerald, and another ring 32 ½ carat snakeskin-shaped engagement ring.

The 54-year-old fashion designer proposed to Jocelyn in the summer of 2017 at the Versace Mansion in Miami. The opulent townhouse was picked by him due to the personal ties the couple had with Gianni Versace.

Llyod popped the question on the 20th anniversary of Gianni Versace’s death. Versace helped

at the beginning of his career in the fashion industry:

“He helped me a lot. Gianni was a very generous person and helped me go through my show in Paris. His spirit, when we were there, he came back. I'm very spiritual and I felt his presence. It was beautiful, emotional.”

Regarding the age difference — her being 27 years his senior — Lloyd told Daily Mail TV that people “should be open-minded about it” and he mentioned the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the first lady of France, has a 25 years age gap.

Talking about France, the couple proudly spoke about the comparison between Jocelyn and Brigitte Bardot. Her fiancé said that when they go to restaurants in France, people often mistake her with Brigitte.

However, in the last few years, Jocelyn Wildenstein joined the list of bankrupt billionaires. According to Grunge, in 2020 she filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. She was apparently living with $900 a month and depended on people’s help to get by.

The former billionaire and socialite might have lost her fortune due to her extravagant expenses. In a 1998 Vanity Fair article, Jocelyn had allegedly spent $350,000 in a Chanel gown and $10 million on jewelry.

Jocelyn claims that she relied on the “guarantee” of her divorce. However, she was also a victim of forgery — a painting supposedly worth $35-million was actually worth $4.7 million, and a Diego Velázquez painting from the 17th century turned out to be a forgery.

In addition to that, her addiction to plastic surgeries had cost her a lot of money. Some close friends said that Jocelyn was terrible at managing her billions of dollars.

Just like her fierce denial of her addiction with plastic surgery — or that she’d had any surgical intervention at all — the 80-year-old also denies that she “had anything to do” with her reckless expenses or bankruptcy.

Despite losing her billions and filing for bankruptcy, Jocelyn’s latest endeavor is a docuseries about her life. Her publicist, Brandon Cohen, told Page Six that she wants to show her life before and her life now with Lloyd to the public.

The “Catwoman” name was mentioned and thrust back into the spotlight right after the award-winning singer The Weeknd debuted his new ever-changing face at the beginning of the year.

Fans were shocked by the notorious difference since he began his facial saga in 2019. Some people on Twitter compared him with Michael Jackson and said that he's the "modern version."
