Dad and Daughter Dining in a Restaurant in 2015 Received Unexpected Note from Stranger Spying on Them

A single father decided to take his daughter out on a dinner date to celebrate Valentine's Day. To his complete astonishment, he was being eavesdropped on by a bunch of other diners and even received a note from one of them.

Bringing up children in the best way possible can be very cumbersome at times, especially for single parents. However, this single dad was determined to make February 14, 2015, special for his little princess, so he took her on a cute date.

While the father was busy spending quality time with his daughter, a couple of other people in the restaurant couldn't help appreciating what they saw—a loving, single parent celebrating Valentine's Day with his sweetheart daughter.

Not everyone is fond of being spied on by others, and perhaps the father would have reacted differently if he had noticed all the other diners staring at him and his daughter. On the contrary, he received a kind note from one of the couples that read:

“Hi there! Sorry to spy but my husband and I saw you out with your little date and were so impressed with what a great dad you are."

"As a single dad, I took my six year old daughter out to valentines dinner tonight when this happened. I won't lie, I teared up at the table. So, thank you random strangers. Thank you (sic)."

Given the dynamics of the special bond a father shares with his daughter, spending time together, such as dining in a restaurant, can mean the world to children. Perhaps the single dad wanted to do the same for his little princess.

While the daddy and his little angel were busy chatting over their meal, they didn't realize that their sweet bond had caught the attention of several diners. No wonder one of the couples dining there was so impressed that they couldn't help commenting.

According to the note, the couple had grown up without their fathers and understood the value of having a father figure and a male role model in the early childhood years.

Words of appreciation can sometimes mean so much to people, and the single father was completely touched by the heartfelt note. Perhaps he would have even thanked the couple in person if they had stayed back for a little longer.
