Shocking revelations about Meghan Markle, her husband, Prince Harry, and some royal family members have left many people talking, following the release of Andrew Morton's new book, and here are some of the reasons why.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is one strong woman who has proven to be more focused on what makes her and her little family happy, rather than negative comments from fellow royals, netizens, several media outlets, and the general public.

Time and again, the mother-of-two has managed to find herself in the news for several reasons including the rift between her family and the British royals, abandoning her royal duties, and welcoming a second child.

Recently, social media was again set ablaze after an updated version of an unofficial biography about Markle's life, written by Andrew Morton, was released. The book titled "Meghan: A Hollywood Princess" was initially published in 2018.

However, the updated version was released with an additional six chapters, covering Markle's short period in the royal family. The book also made some shocking revelations about the Duchess of Sussex. Here is a look at some new findings from Morton's book.

Apart from "Meghan: A Hollywood Princess," Morton is also famous for publishing a book on the biography of Prince Harry's late mom, Princess Diana, and he did not fail to mention the late Princess of Wales in his new book.

Morton surprisingly addressed Princess Diana as "the third wheel" in Markle and her husband, Prince Harry's marriage. According to the author, the late princess' ghost loomed over the duo's lives and was a defining factor in their perspective of the world.

Morton said the couple referenced Harry's late mother and made essential decisions in relation to her. In the book, the journalist also claimed that Markle's family friends once said the Duchess wanted to be a second version of Princess Diana.

Morton's book also touched on the relationship between Markle and her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, which has been of significant interest to social media users.

In the book, the author alleged that Middleton lacked energy in getting to know and bond with Markle leading to Prince Harry and Markle's wedding because she was struggling with the difficult pregnancy of her son, Prince Louis.

Despite Morton's claims about Markle and Middleton's relationship and a discussed row between the pair during a bridesmaid's dress fitting, he alleged that Harry's wife bought Middleton a bracelet to show gratitude for helping with preparations for the wedding.

Speaking of Markle's kind gesture, Morton described the gold piece of jewelry as an "elegant peace offering." According to the journalist, Markle also gave six close friends gold bracelets.

Morton also revealed in his book that Markle found some members of the royal household, besides Prince Charles and the Queen, "unfriendly and jealous."

Morton alleged that Harry and Markle's exit from the UK was low-key welcomed by some Royal family members, though on the institutional level, it was a bitter pill to swallow.

Since the release of the book, no comments have been made by Harry and Markle.

Several insiders and a line of experts have claimed that a picture of the Queen's heirs got Harry and his wife angry, and Morton is one of the many.

The photo, which was shared in 2020 by Queen Elizabeth, consisted of the Monarch, Prince Charles, Prince William, and young Prince George.

The snap was captured in the Throne Room in Buckingham Palace, and not only was it a family photo, but it also showed the future of the British monarchy.

However, Morton claimed that Markle and Harry saw the photo as an "unspoken code" about their future, alleging that the entire British constitution conspired against them.

One of the biggest news that shocked the world was when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were taking a break from their duties in the royal household for six weeks and spending time in Canada.

While many royal members were disappointed with the news, Morton claimed that Prince William heaved a sigh of relief. In addition, some palace aides were also happy to see the couple take a break.

2020 was a year filled with struggles for the world as many contracted and even died from the deadly coronavirus. One of such people who suffered but survived the illness was Prince Charles.

Upon hearing of his father's condition, Morton claimed that Harry reached out to Prince Charles and Prince William from Canada. According to the journalist, Harry's calls helped bridge the distance between him and his family.

In the book, Morton alleged that bullying was the primary cause for the rift between Harry and William. The author wrote that Middleton's coldness towards Markle and William's alleged bullying contributed to the "Cain and Abel" fallout between the brothers.

Last year, the brothers expressed their unhappiness about bullying claims made against them, noting that some contained inflammatory language, which was potentially harmful and offensive.

The lead-up to Markle's wedding was also talked about in the book, including a supposed disagreement over the tiara the bride was to wear. According to Morton, Harry needed acupuncture to stay calm in the run-up to the wedding.

He was anxious when the tiara meant for Markle couldn't be made available instantly for her hairdresser. Morton said The Times reported how Markle threw a tiara tantrum shortly before the wedding.

Harry and Markle welcomed their first child, Archie, in 2019. When it was time for his christening, they decided to make it a private affair, banning cameras from the venue.

Also, the couple refused to make public the names of the people they had picked to be their son's godparents. According to Morton, this decision left William "perplexed."

Since the release of the book, no comments have been made by Harry and Markle. The pair appear to be focused on being great parents to their kids, especially their baby daughter, Lilibet, who they welcomed on June 4.

Markle and Harry revealed that Lilibet was more than they could ever imagine, and they remained grateful for the love they had received from several people. Archie is also very excited to have a little sister and will likely call her by the nickname "Lili."
