As all parents know, taking care of children, especially toddlers, is quite exhausting, especially in public places and events.

So it comes as no surprise that kids are not welcomed in certain events meant for adults. However, it isn’t acceptable to ban the child of the groom from his wedding.

Such was the problem of a bride-to-be who revealed her sentiments online. Her post, originally on Facebook, made its way to Reddit and caused furious reactions amongst users. She wrote:

“How do I tell my [fiancé] I don’t want his daughter at our wedding? I put ‘no kids’ on the invites so I thought he’d get the point, but he keeps mentioning her being there??”

According to the woman, her soon-to-be stepchild is three years old and self-centered. She went as far as calling the toddler the groom’s “crotch goblin” and a “mistake.”

“I don’t want her there because she’s needy asf and makes everything about her [...],” the woman added. She ended her post by telling viewers to continue scrolling if they weren’t going to be of any help.

It seems that having a no-kids policy at weddings is nothing new. Previously, another Reddit story went viral after the groom shared his dilemma online.

It came as no surprise that the post was immediately filled with comments from angry users, many of whom suggested that the man leave his fiancée.

One user hoped that the post would somehow reach the groom before he made the biggest mistake of his life, while another called the woman evil. It has been two years since the post was shared, leaving people hopeful that the groom left the woman.

It seems that having a no-kids policy at weddings is nothing new. Previously, another Reddit story went viral after the groom shared his dilemma online.

According to the father-of-two, his fiancée is not fond of children and does not get along with his youngest daughter, nine. She does, however, like his 18-year-old daughter.

As such, she does not want any kids at their wedding, including his nine-year-old. The problem came when his youngest child expected to be present during her father’s special day. He shared:

“She tried to tag along with my fiancée and my oldest when they were going shopping for a dress for my oldest because she thought she needed a dress too.”

When the dad explained that the wedding would be child-free and that his daughter was not an exemption, she began crying and getting mad.
