Dylan Minnette's Girlfriend Lydia Night Shares New Snap with Boyfriend — Fans Wonder If They Are Engaged

Pop music artist Lydia Night had fans thinking she was engaged to her boyfriend Dylan Minnette on her recent social media post. The pair teased a marriage proposal.

"13 Reasons Why" star Dylan Minnette and his girlfriend Lydia Night first sparked romance rumors in October 2018 as they packed PDA earlier that month. A source told E! News at the time:

"Dylan and Lydia were spotted getting cozy at Knott's Scary Farm on October 6. The two held hands, and Dylan was rubbing her back at one point. They exchanged a couple of kisses outside one of the mazes."

Last June, the lovebirds enjoyed a dinner date where Minnette showed off his dyed pink hair for the outing at trendy Catch restaurant with his beau.

The couple sported matching white face masks which had the words: "How do you love?" inscribed on the front. Minnette wore a denim jacket paired with jeans and a striped t-shirt, and Night opted for a nude-colored PVC shirt dress.

Night, 21, is a lead vocalist for the California punk rock band called The Regrettes. The group consists of guitarist Genessa Gariano, bassist Brooke Dickson, and drummer Drew Thomsen.

The band earned widespread acclaim with the 2019 release of their sophomore LP "How Do You Love." The group has headlined sold-out shows throughout North America and Europe. In an interview with NME in September, she shared:

“I’ve always known I’d make pop music, but only when it became excusable – I thought maybe it would have been a solo thing or when I’d done enough to make myself cool. I love punk scene, it helped me gain confidence."

Meanwhile, her lover Minnette portrays the lead actor Clay Jensen on Netflix's hit series, "13 Reasons Why." He is a high schooler who discovers why Hannah Baker committed suicide by listening to her tapes.

The 25-year-old was born in Evansville, Indiana, and lived in Illinois for five years before relocating to Los Angeles to kickstart his Hollywood career. He starred in several films and TV shows, including "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal."

Minnette and Night recently made fans believe that they were getting married. The songwriter posted a cozy close-up image of the couple on Instagram with their hands on their faces and wrote: "Happy Xmas."

Fans quickly flooded the comments section reacting to the snap. One person said: "Was looking for an engagement ring," while another user commented: "The way I thought they got engaged, hahaha." A third echoed the same sentiments, saying, "Me too."
