Todd Chrisley admits he never plans to reconcile with his estranged daughter Lindsie, who has not spoken to anyone in their family in years following a messy feud.

Todd is the patriarch of the well-loved Chrisley family. For years, their show gave the inside scoop on the inner workings of their family, both the good and bad.

One particularly nasty encounter the show aired was the feud between Todd and his eldest daughter Lindsie. Years later, it seems the hurt is too deep for both sides that they vowed never to reconcile with each other no matter what happened.

The show "Chrisley Knows Best" was picked up to follow the life of multimillionaire real estate developer Todd Chrisley and his family. They are pegged as a picture-perfect family from the South, who has everything money could buy.

However, as the show went on, it broadcasted the reality of being in their wealthy family. Drama slowly unfolded, with Todd revealed as a man who deals with his family life with an iron fist.

The show has been on air since 2014, and it features the lives of Todd's family consisting of Julie, his wife, Chase, Savannah, and Grayson, his children, his mom Nanny Faye, and his granddaughter Chloe.

INSIDE THE CHRISLEY FAMILY'S VERY PUBLIC DRAMAS

In 2021, Todd faced a lawsuit after being sued for libel by a former Georgia tax department employee. The case came after Chrisley accused the employee of several criminal misdeeds on social media and his podcast.

His wrath against the state tax department where the woman worked came after a tax fraud investigation case against Chrisley and his wife Julie in 2017. Three years later, Todd went on his podcast "Chrisley Confessions" to make accusations against the employee.

Chrisley's tax woes from when he lived in Georgia followed him even when he moved to Nashville in 2016. His accusations against the employee allegedly caused "emotional and mental distress" and ruined her reputation.

She sought at least $75,000 in compensation for the damages inflicted on her life. Up until today, this case and a couple of other tax-related are still pending.

Their son Kyle faced personal demons he tried to shed in 2019 during Todd and Julie's indictment for tax evasion. Kyle struggled with his mental health and turned vices into his coping mechanism.

In the end, Kyle used his experience to inspire others towards the road to recovery through his father's podcast, "Chrisley Confessions." While speaking about the topic, Kyle admits he loved his children more than anything in the world, which is why he decided to do something about his situation.

Despite trying to start anew, Kyle eventually cut ties with his family. His daughter, Chloe, continued living with Todd and Julie, who since prioritized protecting her from harm.

The doting grandparents struggle to protect Chloe from racial discrimination. The young girl would receive racist comments from people online, and it took a toll on her family, who wanted so badly to protect her. Opening about it, Todd said:

"We don't tell her those things. We take that information and we use it as a tool to help us teach her or to prepare her for what's coming."

TODD CHRISLEY'S LONG-LASTING FEUD WITH ESTRANGED DAUGHTER

While the Chrisleys faced many controversies, the biggest drama erupted between Todd and his eldest daughter Lindsie. Their feud so far spans a decade, and it started when Lindsie eloped with Will Campbell in 2012.

Todd disapproved of his daughter's relationship, which led to her eloping. Soon after, she announced she was pregnant with her son Jackson. In 2016, she filed for divorce, only to pull the papers out of the court. In 2021, they officially filed for divorce.

Tensions between Lindsie and Todd escalated further when Kyle accused her and their biological mother of turning Todd and Julie into the authorities for an unspecified reason, something that Lindsie's attorney denied.

Lindsie also had accusations against Todd, claiming that he and her brother Chase blackmailed her over a sex tape that her brother claimed to have bought. In a report, Lindsie's camp said Todd and Chase wanted her to deny an incident, and if she refused, they would release the tape.

Todd and Chase denied the allegations, with Todd going so far as to claim his daughter had affairs with "Bachelorette" contestants Robby Hayes and Josh Murray while married to Campbell. However, the feds ended up investigating Todd and Chase for extorting Lindsie.

RECONCILIATION IS NOT AN OPTION FOR THE CHRISLEY PATRIARCH

Despite the accusations thrown against one another, Lindsie initially did not shut the door to reconciling with her family. Lindsie attempted to meet with her dad in the presence of their lawyers, but Todd refused to attend.

In 2021 however, fans thought he was open for reconciliation when he posted an anonymous yet targetted message aimed at Lindsey amidst her divorce from Campbell. In his Instagram caption, he wrote:

"Whatever is going on in your life right now, I see it, and I’m working all things out for good, for you, my child. There is nothing you can do or have done that will make me ever love you less."

However, just a month after his Instagram post, he made it clear that he isn't interested in sitting down with his daughter Lindsie to repair their relationship. To Todd, he was way past the point of simply forgetting about the hurtful things that Lindsie did to him and his family.

Despite not wanting to connect with his daughter again, he wished the best to Lindsie and his grandson Jackson.

THE FEELING IS MUTUAL FOR LINDSIE CHRISLEY

After her father's anonymous Instagram post, Lindsie admitted she didn't feel the show of support was genuine, as he never reached out to her privately. She added that as long as her family throws accusations her way, she will always respond to defend herself.

Lindsie also revealed that she has tried to reach out to her father to sit and talk with their lawyers multiple times, but he would refuse. To her, this spoke volumes. The same way her father wished not to communicate with her, she had this to say about reconciling with her family:

"[...] at this point, there will be no chance for reconciliation. And unfortunately, I'm going to continue to respond to whatever allegations are put out."

Despite everything that has been said and done, Todd Chrisley recently wished Lindsie "nothing but the best" despite their acceptance that the two of them will never reconcile. Likewise, Lindsie acknowledged it was better for both parties to go their separate ways to protect each other's peace.
