Man Suspects Girlfriend of Infidelity & Sets up Hidden Camera, Sees Movement at Night

The man was on his couch when he saw his girlfriend making a smoothie in the kitchen while his sister's boyfriend was also there. He didn't find anything fishy until he noticed their reflection on the back door's glass.

A 21-year-old Redditor who was blindly in love with his girlfriend found himself dealing with the shock of his life after her behavior with his sister's boyfriend left him in a state of disbelief.

He instantly suspected something was fishy, and things took a different turn after he ordered a hidden spy camera online to get down to some serious investigation.

The Original Poster (OP) dated his girlfriend "Stacy" for four years, and they lived together for two of those years after she fought with her dad and moved out. OP and his mother were more than delighted to have his girlfriend move in.

He woke Stacy up and played the disturbing video in front of her. She was out of words and immediately closed it.

Eventually, OP began noticing something fishy about his girlfriend's behavior. The "jealous type" he was, seeds of doubts first bred in his mind a year ago during a board game at home with his sister, her boyfriend, both 24, and his girlfriend.

His sister's boyfriend and Stacy were in one team, and for some apparent reason, OP disliked the aura they exhibited together. OP noticed his girlfriend laughing at all of the guy's jokes and how he teased her.

It appeared flirty to OP, and he wasn't the type to keep quiet. So that night, OP discussed the issue with Stacy, who dismissed it by saying, "it was nothing."

During this time, OP went to school and worked as a cook. His schedule always kept him away from home, and at times, he only made it back at midnight.

Stacy was often alone at home since OP's parents and sister worked 8 to 4 jobs, and she only worked on weekends. OP's sister's boyfriend worked in construction with a two-week on-and-off schedule. So Stacy and the guy were often home together, giving more room for doubt in OP's mind.

With each passing day, OP observed Stacy talking less with his sister's boyfriend even if they were in the same room. She barely looked at him, and such instances gradually built tension in OP's mind.

When he confronted Stacy about it, she told him it was because she didn't want to upset him. Her confession made OP feel guilty, and he assured her he would never bring it up again.

Nearly a week later, OP was lying on the couch upstairs in the living room when he saw Stacy making a smoothie in the kitchen that was half-visible from where he was. Although nothing seemed dodgy initially, things took a different turn after his sister's boyfriend went into the kitchen.

OP held his phone and pretended not to care as he assumed the guy was making lunch while Stacy was doing her thing. He saw them shifting around on the back door's glass reflection.

Although he couldn't see them fully, the nightmare dawned on OP when he saw his sister's boyfriend suddenly slap Stacy on her bottom. OP was shocked and had a sudden outburst of anger. After his sister's partner went upstairs, he jumped out from the couch, rushed to the front door, and slipped his shoes on.

Stacy came forward and asked him where he was going. OP's temper had reached boiling point when he told her he'd seen what just happened and slammed the door.

Stacy ran after him, and when OP told her about the reflection, she argued that he was fathoming an illusion. She threatened to break up and guilt-tripped him, saying she was broke and would've to drop out of school to work a petty job.

Although OP was unmoved, he apologized to Stacy and begged her to stay. He promised never to discuss the matter again, and she walked back to his house. But OP still trusted his gut and worked on gathering solid evidence.

That night, he ordered a tiny spy camera and later set it up at the corner of the curtains in the living room. A couple of days later, he put the cam's chip in the USB and connected it to his laptop to check.

OP rummaged through the footage, but there wasn't any suspicious activity recorded. He put the chip back in the camera and set it up again. A little over a day later, he woke up before everyone else and rechecked the footage.

He saw his sister's boyfriend going downstairs and sitting on the couch at 3:15 a.m. A few minutes later, Stacy walked over to him and sat on his lap.

OP could watch no more. He was crushed, envisioning the girl he'd planned to spend the rest of his life cheating on him with his sister's boyfriend.

He woke Stacy up and played the disturbing video in front of her. She was out of words and immediately closed it. She broke down, and before she could utter anything, OP finally spoke up.

He threatened to send the video clip to everyone she knew if she didn't pack her stuff immediately. He refused to accept her lengthy apology and excuses.

Shortly after, Stacy's dad picked her up. OP guessed she would be living with her family but never bothered about her.

As for his sister's boyfriend, OP claimed he was kicked out of the house and had moved into his place somewhere. "Who knows, maybe Stacy might even move in with him," OP surmised and said he doesn't care about her anymore.
