After their wedding in 1956, they started a family and welcomed four beautiful children, who in turn gave them nine grandchildren. One granddaughter, Christina Von Schwarz, shared their story in 2019, leaving many people in awe.

A LOVE TO STRIVE FOR

Christina always admired her grandparents' union and strived to have a similar relationship in the future. The proud granddaughter visited the couple frequently, and she also stayed in touch with them via phone.

She said:

"They're really just such amazing people, I've never met anyone like them."

While challenging seasons sometimes break marriages and bonds, the opposite was true for this couple. When his wife became sick, Karl supported her in every way possible.
