“I know that I have been very quiet these past few months, so I thought I would share with you all as to why,” she wrote, revealing how happy she felt. “I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma.”
Weeks before, Osbourne also took to Instagram to share another milestone in her life – her weight loss. The former “View” host lost a whopping 85 pounds throughout her fitness journey.
HOW DID KELLY OSBOURNE LOSE HER WEIGHT?
“I lost 85 lbs,” Kelly wrote in an Instagram comment directed to a friend. “Can you believe it?” Back in December 2019, Osbourne declared that 2020 was “going to be the year of me” and followed through with the promise to herself.
The television star underwent a gastric sleeve operation, which reduced the size of her stomach to restrict food intake. Her choice to have the surgery came after years of experiencing weight fluctuations and going on different diets. She said, as reported by Good Housekeeping:
“I had surgery [...]. I will never ever, ever lie about it, ever. It's the best thing I have ever done.”
After getting surgery to help her lose weight, Osbourne also put in the effort and discipline needed to sustain her new lifestyle. She has grown fond of working out and enjoys doing Pilates, yoga, and circuit training.
Her past experiences contributed to how she perceived her self-image. In 2018, after a year of sobriety, she decided to change her lifestyle for good.
Osbourne's dedication to a healthy lifestyle paved the way for her to fit into a size two and she is proud of it, as it took hard work.

KELLY WAS CALLED FAT
Over the years, Osbourne's weight has affected her life. She was in her late teens when her family starred in their own reality show, and critics have taunted her since. She said:
“I was called fat and ugly in the press almost my entire life. I understand that being judged by others comes with the territory, but it broke my heart and ruined my self-esteem. It sets you up to hate yourself [...].”
Osbourne previously dropped 20 pounds in 2009 but struggled to keep the weight off. She lost another 30 pounds in 2011 but later had an addiction relapse, and her health became less of a priority.
Her past experiences contributed to how she perceived her self-image. In 2018, after a year of sobriety, she decided to change her lifestyle for good. Osbourne has since realized the importance of self-love in her life.
