Courtney Love, who loves to take good care of herself, has always been open about the changes to her looks. The actress believes that even as she is aging, she needs to look as good as possible.

Born Courtney Michelle Harrison on July 9, 1964, she became legally emancipated at 16 and traveled throughout Europe pursuing music before her break into the industry in the U.S.

From music, she ventured into movies and started her band, Hole, in 1989. In 1992, she married Kurt Cobain, the lead singer and guitarist for Nirvana, and they welcomed their daughter that same year.

In the 1990s, Love admitted to having used drugs, and on one occasion, Johnny Depp rescued her by giving her C.P.R. outside the club he once co-owned.

The Hole musician also revealed that when she was going through that rough phase of her life, Depp was there for her daughter. Love also said her daughter informed her that Depp had saved her life.

Early into the 2000s, Love's band broke up, and she had to deal with numerous health and legal issues and was in a lockdown rehab for three months. When she got out, she released her book, "Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love" in 2006.

In 2009, she reformed her band with a new lineup, and in 2013, Yves St. Laurent appointed her as a spokesmodel for their fashion collection by Heidi Slimane.

In 2014, Love, who was not shy to talk about her facial transformation, opened up about a rhinoplasty she underwent in the mid-1980s because she felt that she had a big nose. She said:

"That schnoz was not taking me anywhere but radio. [...] I got my nose fixed and in six months the world changed."

She further revealed that she made the change when she was 20 and never regretted the procedure. Love also openly talked about a facelift. She said she took advice from Goldie Hawn to get it done at 35.

Love and Kurt have a daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. She is also Kurt's only child, and they named her after Frances McKee from The Vaselines. Frances got her second name, Bean, because Kurt thought she looked like a kidney bean on the ultrasound.

Frances is a visual artist, singer, and model whose godparents are actress Drew Barrymore and R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe. She was removed from her parent's custody and returned after legal proceedings as an infant.

In 2003, Love lost custody of her daughter again. Frances was placed into the custody of her paternal grandmother before Love got her back in 2005.

When Frances was 17, she filed a restraining order against her mother on the grounds of domestic violence, but they reconciled in 2015 and have remained close.

In May 2018, Frances debuted her solo song and was the executive producer on "Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck," the HBO movie about her father's life.
