How Old Is Alec Baldwin? The Actor Has Been in Front of the Cameras since 1982

Alec Baldwin has had a long and successful career in the entertainment industry, but his personal life has never ceased to raise eyebrows.

A video of former NFL player Brendan Langley assaulting a United Airlines worker at an airport went viral, and Alec Baldwin said the worker was the victim. Some people disagreed and claimed that Langley defended himself after the worker hit him first.

The "Mission: Impossible" actor accused Langley of workplace abuse and added that people go to work expecting safety and civility. Instagram users asked Alec to avoid commenting because he accidentally killed a crew member on the set of his film "Rust."

ALEC BALDWIN'S WIFE

Authorities are still investigating the accident, and it is too soon to tell if Alec will face criminal charges. His wife, yoga instructor Hilaria Baldwin, has been by his side throughout the investigation.

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin met at a New York City restaurant in February 2011, and they hit it off right away. The couple married on June 29, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Patrick in New York.

In December 2020, Hilaria became the target of a cultural appropriation controversy after people discovered that she was born in Massachusetts. For years she claimed she was born and grew up in Spain. Hilaria later clarified that she spent time between Boston and Spain.

Before Hilaria, Alec was married to actress Kim Basinger. They met on the set of 1991's "The Marrying Man" and fell in love right away. Alec and Basinger tied the knot in 1995 and divorced in 2002.

Unfortunately, they went through a long and difficult divorce and custody battle over their daughter, Ireland Baldwin (more about Ireland and Alec's children later). Alec and Basinger eventually made amends.

Born in New York on April 3, 1958, Alec Baldwin is 64. He grew up in Massapequa, Long Island, and is the eldest of four brothers who followed in his footsteps and are all actors.

Alec's on-screen credits go back to 1982 when he had a short run in "The Doctors." He then worked on "Cutter to Houston" and "Knots Landing" before making it big in "The Hunt for Red October" in 1990.

Apart from working on Broadway and Hollywood comedies, Alec had a long and successful run in "Saturday Night Live," "30 Rock," and "Thomas & Friends."
