Born in Moscow, Russia, on June 7, 1981, Kournikova is a retired tennis player who attracted a lot of attention for her impressive skills on the court and striking good looks.

She fell in love with tennis early on and began practicing at age five. By the time Kournikova was ten, she was already a promising tennis prospect, so she began training in Nick Bollettieri's academy in Florida.

Kournikova made her Grand Slam debut at 15. She made it to the fourth round of the US Open but lost to Steffi Graf, one of the iconic tennis players Kournikova grew up watching.

In 1997, Kournikova lost to Martina Hingis in the semifinals at Wimbledon, making her best singles run in a Grand Slam. Hingis and Kournikova teamed up to play doubles and win the Australian Open two years later. They ended 1999 ranked No. 1 in doubles.

Unfortunately, things got complicated too soon. Kournikova suffered a stress fracture in her foot and underwent surgery in 2001, and she retired in 2003. She kept making money as a model, though.

Kournikova and her famous partner, Enrique Iglesias, met in December 2001 when she played his love interest in his "Escape" music video. They hit it off right away but kept their relationship under wraps.

In August 2002, Iglesias and Kournikova walked the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet in New York City, officially making their public debut as a couple.

The couple's fans feared the worst in May 2007 when Iglesias said he and Kournikova had secretly married and divorced. The "Hero" singer confessed that he was single and didn't mind being alone, but his rep later pointed out that it was a joke.

Kournikova and Iglesias made headlines again in November 2011 when she said marriage was not important because she was in a happy relationship even without the "married" label. It is not like they didn't want kids, though.

The couple welcomed their first kids, twins Lucy and Nicholas Iglesias, on December 16, 2017. It is fair to say that Lucy inherited her dad's passion for music, mainly after Iglesias posted a video of his daughter dancing to "The Wheels on the Bus" when she was two.

Nicholas is the spitting image of his tennis star mother, but he also has a knack for music. When the boy was two, Iglesias shared a video of his son adorably singing in a boat.

Iglesias and Kournikova's youngest child is Mary, born on January 30, 2020. The singer admitted he was scared about how the twins would react to their younger sibling, but they loved her immediately.

After Mary's birth, Iglesias and Kournikova sparked marriage rumors again. She changed her name on Instagram to Anna Kournikova Iglesias. However, they have not confirmed or denied the rumors. They still have a gorgeous family!
