Steve Harvey's Daughter Lori Split from Michael B Jordan & Wipes All Traces of Him from Her Social Media

"There’s premeditated planning of staying out of the way [of the public eye] that sometimes kills spontaneity and intimacy.”

Michael and Lori tried to remove the premeditation from their relationship so that it would have the best chance to thrive. "Long story short, I think it's just the timing of everything. It was the right time for me," he said.

Michael's relationship with Lori was also the first time in his mega-successful career that he was so open about his love life. His affection towards Lori was idolized by his and her fans alike.

Despite the public's outpouring of support for the couple, Lori expressed that she and Michael tried to strike a balance between their public appearance and their private relationship.

Despite the breakup, Michael and Lori still loved one another and were devastated by the breakup.

"We know there are people that love and support us and want to see us...so [we want to] give just enough, but keep the majority of it just for us," Lori said.

"She still wants to have fun and be free," the source said. "Michael is a great guy. She is sad that their relationship didn't work out, but she is moving on."

Michael and Lori still loved one another despite the breakup and were devastated by the split. "They had great times together and brought out the best in each other," the source added.

STEVE HARVEY'S THOUGHTS ON THE BREAKUP

Steve Harvey didn't comment much on his daughter's relationship with Michael, but after the breakup, he made his feelings quite clear:

"I'm team Lori, 1,000 percent. She's my daughter. I love her, I support her."

Steve casually added that he felt okay about the breakup between Lori and Michael. "It's a breakup. I'm pretty sure they'll be fine. People break up all the time," Steve said.

Steve expressed that it must have been quite tricky for both of them to be young, in the limelight, and in a relationship. "I just wish I could've broken up without the cost factor!" Steve joked.

Despite the breakup, Steve still perceived Michael to be a good man. "He's a cool guy...As long as you don't put your hands on my daughter, I don't give a damn what you do," he said.

Following reports of the breakup, Lori removed all photos of Michael from her Instagram page. Michael still had pictures of Lori on his page, but they both unfollowed one another.
