Wayne Knight, the actor, and comedian who plays the chubby man on the comedy series "Seinfeld," is living proof that anyone can achieve their full potential with hard work and dedication. Here's how he successfully lost 100 pounds.

Wayne Knight delighted viewers with his comedic chops in the 1989 "Seinfeld" sitcom alongside incredible actors, including Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Larry David.

Besides his popularity playing in the classic sitcom as Newman, Knight is long admired for his incredible body transformation. Here's how he managed his weight loss journey.

WHY DID WAYNE KNIGHT DECIDE TO LOSE WEIGHT?

Wayne was depicted as a chubby man for the majority of his career. He also revealed that he weighed 327 pounds at his heaviest during the production of "Jurassic Park."

The 66-year-old actor used to be obsessed with food. He was also overweight when playing his former character on "Seinfeld." He even noticed himself catching his breath while filming an episode.

This prompted Knight to see cardiologist Daniel Eisenberg, who confirmed his worst nightmare. The TV star could suffer from diabetes, heart disease, or stroke if not prevented early. Knight shared his thoughts after his trip to the doctor and said:

"You're heading towards death. And it scared me, literally to life."

HOW DID WAYNE KNIGHT LOSE WEIGHT?

With a health risk looming, Knight decided to lose weight the old-fashioned way: exercise more and eat less. He didn't want to go for surgery because it was too frightening and dangerous.

In 2014, Knight was the target of an internet rumor that claimed he had passed away.

To keep up with his body improvement, he sought the help of fitness expert Marc Vahanian. Knight joined a support group and even subscribed to a gourmet delivery service.

Knight now believes that health is more important than being thin. With his remarkable weight loss journey, he expressed delight because he looked better than his old self. He has now lost 100 pounds. Knight said:

"For me to stand before you and like anyone with any addiction and say, 'I'm done, I'm clean, and I'm going to stay clean for the rest of my life.' Let's hope."

WHAT IS WAYNE KNIGHT DOING NOW?

In 2014, Knight was the target of an internet rumor that claimed he had passed away. The actor denied the hoax that circulated on the internet. He has dedicated his time to working on his passions.

Knight, who has been in the industry for many years, is clearly passionate about his talent, but he does not tolerate online rumors about him."When they found out I was alive, it fell off," he said.

Knight has been using his vocal talents to voice characters on many TV shows while acting in several films. He appeared in many series, including "How I Met Your Mother," Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," and "The Exes."

In addition to performing in several series, he also dubbed animated movies such as "Kung Fu Panda" with actor Joe Black and "Toy Story 2" with actor Tom Hanks.
