Lyssa Chapman’s Siblings as per Her Father ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’'s Various Marriages

Duane Chapman, known for his role in "Dog the Bounty Hunter," has a daughter, Lyssa Chapman, who fans also knew from the same show. However, she is not his only child. Meet Lyssa Chapman's siblings from her father, who has been married multiple times.

On June 3, 2022, Lyssa Chapman, the "Dog the Bounty Hunter" star, married her partner Leiana Evensen in a Hawaiian wedding after having been together for more than five years.

The couple had a low-key wedding with seven of their closest family members, as they dedicated their love and lives to one another. Lyssa Chapman took to her Instagram to announce their union with pictures from their wedding.

Lyssa is Duane's daughter from his third wife, Lyssa Rae Brittain⁠. In her post, Lyssa said:

"I'm so happy, blessed, filled with love and gratitude. I never thought I was worthy or capable of this kind of love."

Lyssa also stated that their wedding, which they kept a secret, was the most epic condition on the bay as they stood in the water, connecting with the ocean's force and vastness.

MEET DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER'S CHILDREN

Lyssa has a lot of siblings through her father, Duane. He has been married five times and had 12 kids from four marriages; Lyssa is one of 12 and the third child from her father's third marriage.

Also known as "Baby Lyssa," she is an American businesswoman, best-selling author, and former bail bondswoman and bounty hunter. In her role on A&E TV's "Dog the Bounty Hunter," Lyssa and her father, including various friends and family, track down and capture wanted fugitives.

After the conclusion of the TV show in 2012, Lyssa owned and operated a light-therapy center in Hawaii. In 2018, she sold her store and wanted to share her passion for apparel with the rest of the world.

The single mother of two kids, Abbie and Madalynn, also a small business owner, had little time for shopping while taking care of her family. However, having a few "Go-To" products became vital for her.

Lyssa's eldest brother, Christopher Michael Hecht, was born out of wedlock by Duane's ex-girlfriend, Debbie White, in July 1969. Duane's second son, Duane Lee, was born in 1973 from his marriage to La fonda Sue Honeycutt.

Duane's second son, Leland Blane, was born in 1974 while Duane was still married to Honeycutt. His first daughter Zebediah was born in January 1980, and she is his first child in his second marriage to Ann Tengell. Unfortunately, she died very suddenly, only a month after her birth.

His second child with Tengell was a son, Wesley, born in 1980, and they never had a relationship until Wesley was in his late thirties. Duane's third child with Tengell was James Robert, born in March 1982. James is the fifth Chapman son and is very private, as little is known about him.

Duane married for the third time to Lyssa Rae Brittain. They had their first child Barbara Katie in June 1982. Unfortunately, she died in a car crash in 2006 at 23. Their second child was Tucker Dee, born in 1983.

From the bounty hunter's fifth marriage to his late wife Beth Barmore, they had a daughter, Bonnie Joanne, in 1998, and a son Garry, in 2001. Garry has appeared in numerous episodes of his father's TV shows.

While married to Barmore, Duane adopted her daughter Cecily, whom she had with an ex-husband in 1993, and she seems to have a close relationship with her step-siblings.

Before Barmore died, she and Lyssa quarreled on social media after Barmore aired out her frustrations about their relationship. Barmore accused Lyssa of not wishing her a happy Mother's Day and said Lyssa did not invite her to her granddaughter's graduation ceremony.

Lyssa defended herself by posting a screenshot of the text she sent Barmore on Twitter. She had sent the text on Mother's Day, and it read: "Happy mother's day. I love U, grandma."

As Barmore defended herself on May 24, 2019, she said Madalynn had sent the message, as Lyssa did nothing as usual, and they were not informed when Abbie graduated.

However, Lyssa fired back, saying Barmore had not responded to some of her previous messages and because life is short, she wanted Barmore to focus on good things, and she does not intend to battle with her ever again.

Lyssa further stated in a now-deleted tweet that if Barmore intended to hurt her or her daughter Abbie with lies, Barmore didn't. She said:

"I’m so excited, happy and proud and there is nothing you can do to dull mine or Abbie’s shine. As we both know, you never intended to be home in Hawaii this week and I’m sorry you feel some type of way. You want to talk, you got my number."

After Lyssa tweeted, there was no more response from Barmore, and it is unclear if they smoothed things out via text. Unfortunately, Barmore died on June 26, 2019, after battling throat cancer for nearly two years.
