Jason Bateman’s Daughter Maple Sylvie Bateman — A Look at Their Family
Maple Sylvie Bateman is the second daughter of actor Jason Bateman. Maple's father is a Hollywood star, but she's the one who appears to be getting all the attention. Get to know her.
Jason Bateman is highly regarded for his work as an outstanding actor and devoted father. The actor's adorable kids and his wife, Amanda Anka, have piqued the interest of his dedicated fan base.
The 53-year-old actor is the proud father of two daughters: Francesca Nora, 15, and Maple Sylvie, 10. Maple, born in February 2012, has definitely shown a livelier and more colorful personality than her sister.

MEET JASON AND AMANDA'S YOUNGEST DAUGHTER
Jason and Amanda's youngest child gained internet fame in April 2020 after interrupting her father's virtual appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" While Jason talked about his career in the 1990s, Maple stood outside a glass door and waved at the camera.
The "Horrible Bosses" actor introduced his daughter and asked her to greet the talk show host. He then joked about keeping his daughter outside so that he could have more food inside the house.
Maple and the "Arrested Development" star seem to be inseparable. They form a lovely father-daughter duo and are often spotted together at red carpet events and on the sets of Jason's films.
JASON BATEMAN TALKS ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER
The multi-award-winning actor has a number of special memories to share with his children when they are much older. Jason recounted an unforgettable experience he had on a plane when Maple was a year old.
Jason said that Maple created a scene on the plane by making loud noises that resembled bird sounds. The passengers turned to gaze at them before putting on their headphones.

Even though such occurrences made him question bringing his daughters along with him for his travels, he knew he enjoyed having them around. He said:
"It's a two-day trip, and I always want to bring them. It's just so fun. There's room service."

Jason's prior reputation in Hollywood was that of a party animal. In an interview with Redbook Magazine, he said his party boy reputation faded once he became a father, and he began devoting more time to his young children. Jason added:
"Being a father of two is everything I wanted. I'm a big fan of marriage and being a dad. And my wife, Amanda, makes those things easy. She spoils me; she makes the husband part simple."

MAPLE SYLVIE BATEMAN'S OLDER SISTER
In October 2006, Jason and Amanda gave birth to their first child, Francesca. The actor's family has an affectionate nickname for the firstborn child — Franny.
According to Jason, when she was little, Franny was a massive fan of children's movies. However, the one that was always on rotation in their house was "Frozen," a 2013 musical fantasy film by Walt Disney Animation Studios.

WHO IS MAPLE SYLVIE BATEMAN'S MOTHER?
Amanda is an actress, just like Jason. She has appeared in several films, including "Lost Highway" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." She is also the daughter of legendary musician Paul Anka.
Although the pair have known each other since 1987, Amanda's relationship with Jason did not develop quickly. They were friends for ten years before they ever started dating.
The "Cherry Falls" actress and Jason tied the knot in July 2001. Amanda said their successful marriage is due, in large part, to the fact that they have been friends for a very long time.

Jason noted that their marriage defied the odds. He stated that he and his wife are able to set clear boundaries in their relationship. They have a good understanding of when to irritate and when to ignore one another.
While other couples can bicker endlessly, the "Ozark" actor and Amanda either have a brief argument and work things out, or they don't argue at all. He believes that romantic partnerships that start off as friendships last longer.

Jason's family has witnessed him achieve great heights in the entertainment industry. They shared the actor's joy when he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017.
They also celebrated with him when he received a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series in 2019. The award-winning actor thanked his family for his milestone.
Jason continued to rave about his family on social media long after the event ended. Despite the fact that he is one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood, his daughters simply see him as "Dad."
Jason added that his daughters were also accustomed to his irregular working schedule. They have become used to his frequent absence at home.
