THE SHOCKING TEXT
Manulak's husband-to-be revealed shocking news in 2015. He didn't want to go through with the wedding and told the hopeful bride to call off the big day. The woman shared:
"I was in shock, I really didn't know what to do. It was definitely heartbreaking. It was definitely devastating that he didn't want to marry me."
He told Manulak he had a change of heart and didn't feel the same about her anymore. Manulak experienced various emotions, and she didn't know what to do or say.

A WHIRLWIND OF EMOTIONS
First, Manulak "just went numb." Next came feelings of anger and devastation, and the jilted bride said:
"My maid of honor, my mom, and my family and all my friends just kinda helped me call people and just let them know the wedding was over. And, ugh!, I was just so devastated."
While many women would have moped about the significant change in plans, Manulak contacted the group of ladies that would've been bridesmaids, revealing an unexpected plan.

SHE DIDN'T WANT A PITY PARTY
Manulak and her bridesmaids dressed in their wedding outfits and made their way to a Color Fun Fest event in Tampa, Florida. Their dresses certainly drew attention and made spectators curious.
The ladies laughed and had fun as the event began, and they did something shocking. All of them tossed colorful powder on themselves — and their gowns. The bride's once-white wedding dress was stained, and she had the biggest smile.
"It was a wonderfully liberating experience. It was a lot of fun [and] I felt free."

A MESSAGE FOR HER EX-FIANCÉ
Manulak had a surprising message for the man she had been set to marry, and it included a sentiment nobody expected. She expressed feelings of gratefulness, stating:
"I definitely want to tell him 'thank you' for sparing me anything, heartaches down the road. And thank you for letting me go so I can find true happiness."
Despite experiencing one of life's biggest disappointments, Manulak made the best out of the ordeal, and in return, she was liberated. Sadly, she wasn't the only woman to have been jilted shortly before her wedding.
THE JILTED BRIDES CLUB
Cyndi Maisonneuve and Nicole Contos revealed their shocking stories of betrayal and heartbreak. Both women related to Manulak's pain, but they had good news for anyone in the "jilted brides club."
The former jilted brides found love and happiness again. Maisonneuve, left by her ex-fiance an hour before their wedding, had a serious boyfriend and was looking forward to the future.

THE BRIDE AND GUESTS WERE STUNNED
Contos' husband-to-be said goodbye to her in front of a packed Manhattan cathedral in 1997. To add insult to injury, he went on their honeymoon to Tahiti without her. She said:
"We couldn't believe that this was really happening. We had about 350 people in the church."
Admirably, Contos didn't sit around crying and turned her reception into a dance party for family and friends. She eventually found her "prince," and they were happily married with two kids.
THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO THEM
The women raised their glasses "to moving on and better things" and confirmed that being jilted was one of the best things that happened to them. Their stories give hope to anyone that experienced similar heartbreak.
