Mom Prays over Son's Lifeless Body & Says 'I Need You!' — A Minute Later, His Hand Moves
When a woman saw her son lying on the ground lifeless after he had been in an accident, it felt like the world had collapsed on her shoulders. Sadly, things took a turn for the worse, but the woman chose faith over fear. Eventually, she and her family experienced a miracle.
In life, there are significant testimonies that show miracles happen. With the scientific and technological advancements in the world today, the word "miracle" might sound bizarre. Yet, there are instances that cannot be understood and that even science cannot provide answers to.
One might find it astounding or shrug in disbelief, but the light of miracles shines bright when they are least expected. Miracles are not something people find or come across daily. They are occurrences that could happen once in a lifetime, which many people do not experience.

INSIDE THE TRAGIC ACCIDENT
Since La'Kisha welcomed her 15-year-old son, Torianto Brinson, she has watched him excel in various aspects. In his high school in Missouri City, Texas, the young teenager was one of the best.
Torianto proved that he had a bright future ahead of him by not only doing well in school but excelling in sports. However, on a fateful day in 2021, everything changed. It began as a normal day for Torianto and his mother, but it would end in one of the most horrible ways.

According to La'Kisha, she received a heart-wrenching call from her daughter, who sounded hysterical over the phone. "Mom, you need to get here now," the woman recalled.
Immediately, La'Kisha drove to a street around the corner of her house, and on arrival, she saw Torianto lying unconscious on the road. The teenager had been in a fatal car accident and was thrown from the car. Seeing her son in a lifeless state left La'Kisha devastated.
Four emergency services were at the location, trying to resuscitate Torianto, but nothing was working. The young lad was not moving, nor was he breathing.

Then, Torianto was transported to the Texas Medical Center by Life Flight, where the situation worsened, and the devastated mom would receive even more heartbreaking news.
La'Kisha made it known that the doctors told them her son was dead and that there was nothing they could do. She hoped the doctors would do more, but unfortunately, they confirmed that Torianto was gone and nothing else could be done. However, despite the doctors' words, La'Kisha refused to give up on her son.

THE MIRACLE THAT CHANGED LA'KISHA AND HER FAMILY'S LIVES
She asked the family to pray while she said some words of prayer over Torianto's lifeless body, begging him to come back. One minute later, La'Kisha would witness an extraordinary miracle. According to her:
"I was holding his hand, and I prayed and told him, 'Junior, I need you.' A minute later, I saw his hand move."

Once medical practitioners saw the movement, they took Torianto into the theater for traumatic brain injury surgery. The procedure was successful, but the teenager remained in a semi-coma for several months.
Eventually, Torianto recovered just enough to be taken to TIRR Memorial Hermann, a rehabilitation hospital. There, he received all the help he could get.

Dr. Liz Larkin, a physical therapist at the hospital, made it known that Torianto was still having trouble moving around and needed assistance. Still, it was a good sign, meaning that the young boy was improving.
With time, Torianto made more progress, and Larkin and the teenager's family were pleased to see how far he had come. Torianto even returned to playing basketball and working on his dream of playing in the NBA someday. The young lad said he would love to play for the Houston Rockets.
LIFE AFTER LEAVING THE HOSPITAL
After spending many weeks at the hospital, Torianto finally returned home, where his family taught him to do everything again. In La'Kisha's words:
"We taught him how to brush his teeth, how to take a bath, how to eat. I'm a teacher, so I began to teach him fourth grade work, teach him how to comprehend what he reads again and comprehend math."
Torianto's family continued to teach him and help until he could finally do everything independently. Hopefully, this story inspires someone not to give up, even when the situation seems hopeless.
