Tom Brady Revealed He May Retire in Less than 5 Years & His 3 Kids Do Not Know ‘The Way Reality Really Is'
Anybody who loves American football will know the name Tom Brady. He has been one of the biggest names in football for many years, but his journey as a football player has not always been a smooth one.
Brady retired in March this year, but just a few weeks after the retirement, he decided to come back after feeling pressurized into the decision. However, he has now revealed when he will likely retire for good.
The football player said that he was not currently thinking about retirement, but that could all change. He has said that his body is feeling great now, but the traumatic injuries he’s faced over the years could change that for him.

The star has enjoyed an incredible career as a football player. However, Brady spoke to Variety about his retirement and revealed the basis of how he would decide on his retirement. He said:
“I would say it’s year to year: Could this be my last year? Absolutely. Could I change my mind? Absolutely. I’ve realized I don’t have five years left. I want to do it my way. I want to give it everything I got and see where I’m at.”
Because Brady is one of the most famous players in American football, he also has one of the largest net worths of any American football player. He has an on-field net worth of $31.9 million and an off-field net worth of $52 million.
While it is obvious where his on-field wealth stems from, he has built himself some lucrative businesses over the years, which keep him wealthy even when he isn’t earning money during the on-season.
One of these businesses is an NFT platform called autograph, which brought in more than $170 million last year. He also has a production company called Religion of Sports, which was cofounded with fellow footballer Michael Strahan and Gotham Chopra, a filmmaker.
Brady also has another production company called 199 Productions, which is producing the film “80 for Brady,” a roadtrip movie. The football player also has a clothing company called “BRADY.” He even has a job for when he finally decides to retire for good, a commenter on Fox Sports.
He has mentioned that he finds it difficult to explain to his children what life is like for other children.
Brady has been in the field for many years and is therefore very knowledgeable about American football, so the gig will be lucrative for him in that it will pay him $375 million dollars over a ten year, 22-season period.
TOM BRADY'S FAMILY
While Brady has a successful professional life, his personal life is also something that many people dream of having. The sports star is married to model Gisele Bundchen and has three children on whom he dotes.
Brady shares a son, John Brady, who is fourteen years old, with his ex-wife. Bundchen and Brady’s children are Benjamin Brady, who is twelve years old, and daughter Vivian Brady, who is nine years old. Bundchen and Brady have shared multiple times how proud they are of their children.
Although Brady and Bundchen have raised their children with wealth and fame all around them, he wants his children to know that for many other children, this is far from their reality. He has mentioned that he finds it difficult to explain to his children what life is like for other children.
The children have grown up like this all their lives and know no different. After mentioning all of the comforts that his children are afforded, such as people to cook, clean, and protect them, the star said:
“That’s my kids’ reality, which is the hard part to say, ‘Guys, this is not the way reality really is … What can we do about that?'”
HOME LIFE
Being famous has afforded the Brady family more than just creature comforts like people to prepare their meals and clean their spaces. It has also landed them in some of the most beautiful homes, which have been featured in publications such as Architectural Digest.
Brady now lives in a beautiful home with his wife and children, but they have a real estate portofolio that extends far further back than the house they currently live in. The couple started buying property together in 2004.
The star’s children enjoy a comfortable lifestyle.
In 2006, the couple moved on to their next home. However, in 2009, when the couple got married, Brady put the home on the market again. It eventually sold in 2012, but by then the family had moved on to bigger and better things.
In 2008, Bundchen and Brady bought a new home that could accommodate the children they would eventually have together, however, this is not where they ended up raising their children.
After having their children, the couple decided that an even bigger home was what they needed, and in 2014 they sold their previous property and moved once again. The couple still live in this home, which Bundchen called her “sanctuary.”
Being the children of one of the most famous American footballers of all time is a concept that is not lost on Brady’s children. They understand the fame of their parents and live lavish lifestyles because of it.
Just one of the exciting things that Brady has done with his children that not many other children will have the opportunity to experience is horseback riding in Costa Rica while on vacation. The star and his family went riding on a beautiful beach in Costa Rica, while Bundchen videoed the experience.
The couple has also shared many pictures of their homes, but one that caught fans’ eyes was a video of his son, Benjamin’s bedroom, which is extravagant, but beautiful. The star’s children enjoy a comfortable lifestyle.
However, the children do not necessarily enjoy the art that made all the money that keeps them comfortable. Brady has shared in the past that his kids aren’t football fans, saying:
"I’ve got one [son] that loves sports. And another one that doesn’t love sports very much."
Brady then shared that his daughter was not yet old enough to know whether or not she enjoyed sports. However, he said that his children love the excitement of going to his football games and supporting their father.
