  • A detailed description of the Wessexes' parenting style highly admired by the Princess of Wales.

  • The Wessexes' eldest child, Lady Louise, has a non-royal job where she earns $7.27 per hour.

  • Some royal fans question Kate's choice of reference in parenting, who believe that Sophie and Edward are not ideal role models.

  • Prince George, 9, is confident in his roots and future that he cheekily told off his classmates.

In her publication "The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth's Legacy and the Future of the Crown," royal author Katie Nicholl delves into the lives of the new generation of royals.

The author confirmed that the Prince and Princess of Wales know that their kids would owe their duties to the crown as they grow older.

However, the couple has decided to ditch the traditional royal parenting style, which would offer their offspring an understanding of life away from the nobility, which is the real world.

While they might not be fashioning their parenting according to Years of tradition, the couple has their eyes on senior royals who they believe have done a remarkable job as parents.

Nicholl mentioned that Kate is in awe of the Prince and Princess of Wessex, Sophie, and Edward, the King's brother. According to the author, the Princess wants to raise her sons, George and Louis, and daughter Charlotte, exactly like them.

In recent times, the Prince and Princess of Wales have grown conscious about their children's future and have slowly, without pressure, influenced their kids to partake in some royal ceremonies.

During the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the younger royals had starring roles; this showed they were aware of the possibility that awaited them. The eldest, George, is second in line to the throne and would rule after his father.

Reportedly, his sister Charlotte might be spared while also juggling a career. The youngest, Louis, would occasionally maintain the position of a private citizen saddled with royal duties.

So, while the Prince and Princess of Wales would prepare George, Charlotte, and Louis, to be ready for life in the Palace, she would also ensure they can handle the real world, just as the Prince and Princess of Wessex have done.

Following the book's revelations, royal fans chirped in a few comments, analyzing the Waleses' decision to make the other senior royals their role model.

Some commended the Wessexes for being exceptional parents with kids who readily learned their ways.

However, a few fans did not think the family's parenting style was worth emulating; instead, they believed Kate would take the cue from her upbringing. The first person tweeted:

"Wessex kids have been raised well. Sophie is a great example to anyone!"

In agreement with Kate's conclusion, a fan commented, "Sounds very wise." Another quipped, "I believe she wants to raise her children like her mother [raised] her and her siblings. They're [a] happy and very close family."

A fourth commenter added: "Sophie has zero connection with her kids. Her daughter is dressed like a 50-year-old. She was left to look after b/maids at Eugenie's wedding, and her skirt blew up, revealing her underwear. I hope she has a great time at Uni. She deserves to."

Despite the attack on the Wessex family, one thing remains clear; their teenage kids are already exhibiting the lesson learned; therefore, the world is privy to understanding their parents' mode of upbringing.

Sophie and Edward Instilled Core Values in Their Kids

Sophie and Edward's kids Lady Louise, 18, and James, Viscount Severn, 12, are the Queen's grandkids.

Also, they are entitled to their HRH titles, live in a big house, and are welcomed when they visit the grand Palace while they enjoy some privileges, yet, their parents decided to raise them like commoners.

In the past, she rejected the offer to become an active member of the royal family, and with her job at the garden center, she displayed trust in her parents' seemingly brilliant style of raising her.

In an interview, Sophie gushed about what she described as normal. The Duchess of Wessex explained that they go to regular schools, are allowed to be guests at parties, go for sleepovers, stay with friends and walk their dog.

Maintaining the same refreshing honesty, she added, "We try to bring them up with the understanding they are very likely to have to work for a living. Hence we made the decision not to use HRH titles. They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it's highly unlikely."

Sophie sounded confident when she spoke about her eldest child and only daughter. She explained that Lady Louise is "quite clever," and her hope for the young adult is to be a University graduate.

Despite Sophie's expectations, the senior royal mentioned that she would never force her daughter to attend University. For now, she is not sure what her 12-year-old son would want to do.

Interestingly, Lady Louise has proven to be a remarkable young woman, holding firm to the reins of her upbringing. Last month, sources alleged that she wrote her A-levels and would attend St. Andrews University— her mother was right after all!

But one outstanding display of intelligence was not her school grades but her work ethic. While awaiting her A-levels results, Lady Louise took up a job at a garden center where she earned $7.27 hourly.

In the past, she rejected the offer to become an active member of the royal family, and with her job at the garden center, she displayed trust in her parents' seemingly brilliant style of raising her.

A shopper found it unbelievable to have blue blood working for minimum wage. The person noted, "I knew the cost-of-living crisis was bad, but I didn't think I'd ever see a grandchild of the Queen working in a garden center." Another who Lady Louise attended to said, "I couldn't believe it was Lady Louise — I had to look twice."

Kate Is Already Raising Her Kids Intentionally

Despite her intentions to learn some things from the Wessexes, Nicholl claimed that the Princess of Wales is already doing great as her kids are conscious that they must possess a "sense of duty." She wrote:

"George understands he will one day be king and as a little boy sparred with friends at school, outdoing his peers with the killer line: 'My dad will be king, so you better watch out.'"

Making a remark that signifies his loyalty to his roots is not the only sign of Kate and William's intentionality. Following the Queen's funeral, royal fans watched George and Charlotte behave maturely while observing the processions.

Indeed, the Prince and Princess of Wales have fashioned a balanced parenting style where they shield their kids from the public, only to allow them to participate in royal events and enjoy some normalcy.
