Adam Sandler Has 3 Siblings & None of Them Work in the Movie Industry
Adam Sandler's siblings, Scott, Elizabeth, and Valerie, are all older than him. Although successful in their careers, none of them chose to join the entertainment industry.
Adam Sandler is one of Hollywood's most known names, not just for his comedic on-screen characters but for working behind the scenes to produce hit films.
Unlike many multi-talented celebrities, Sandler is the only one among his siblings who joined the entertainment industry.
The actor, born on September 9, 1966, is the youngest of four children. He grew up with three older siblings, Valerie, Elizabeth, and Scott.
Scott Sandler Was the One Who Said That Adam Should Be an Actor
Although his siblings do not share the same passion, one of them played a significant role in Adam's choice of career. Before becoming the successful actor fans know today, Adam worked several jobs that did not end well. He recalled:
"I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. So I asked my brother what I should major in – he said acting, and that's how it started."
Adam always looked up to Scott and took his advice seriously. When the "50 First Dates" star tried his comedy, things did not turn out as he planned, but as time passed, it became his passion and talent.

While Scott supported his younger brother, he chose a career in the legal field and studied at the Boston University of Law. Growing up, Scott shared the same room with his brother, which paved the way for a good relationship.
Scott helped the actor handle his finances and later helped him in court during a legal dispute with Deanne McDonald, the nanny who cared for Adam's kids.
Valerie Sandler Has a Very Private Life
Among the "Big Daddy" star's siblings, his sister, Valerie, remains the most private, with little information about her.
Adam Sandler's older daughter, Sadie, seems to be following a similar path. At only two years old, Sadie made her on-screen debut in "Don't Mess With the Zohan."
However, it was once mentioned that she worked as a food industry executive. Whether she is still in that line of work remains unknown.
Elizabeth Sandler Is a Successful Dentist
Adam's other sister, Elizabeth, chose the medical field and became a successful dentist. She was educated at Manchester Central High School and Brandeis University, graduating magna cum laude. She later earned her doctorate at Boston University's School of Dental medicine.
Elizabeth is accomplished in her field and stands as the NH Women's Dental Society president. She was also Northeast Delta Dental Insurance Company's Chief of Professional Relations.
Beyond her career, Elizabeth is a proud mother of two. Her daughter, Victoria, followed in her footsteps as a dentist, while her son, Tyler, joined the entertainment industry as a director.
After graduating from Harvard University, Tyler pursued a career in stand-up comedy, a path his uncle knows too well. While touring the nation and hosting shows at Hollywood's Laugh Factory, he discovered his passion for working behind the scenes as a director.
Some of his notable film credits include "The Jack and Triumph Show," "Breaking In," "A Night of Too Many Stars," "Nick Swardson's Pretend Time," and "Sing It," among others.
Like Tyler, Adam Sandler's older daughter, Sadie, seems to follow a similar path. At only two years old, Sadie made her on-screen debut in "Don't Mess With the Zohan." She also starred in "Bedtime Stories," "Hotel Transylvania," "Just Go With It," and "Grown Ups."
Her younger sister, Sunny, appears to have the same passion and also appeared in "Grown Ups." Adam shares his kids with his wife of over two decades, Jackie Sandler.
