Selena Gomez's romantic life has always attracted a lot of interest from fans, and the latest rumors are no different. Although she denied being in any romantic relationship, fans got excited about Selena Gomez and the Italian producer. After all, it has been a while since she was last in a serious relationship. The actress has embraced being single after regularly going in and out of relationships throughout the 2010s.

The recent rumors began when Gomez and Iervolino were spotted having a fantastic day out in the sun in Positano. This was not the first time they had been together as they both worked on the film "In Dubious Battle" in 2016. The duo was seen together again in 2019 and 2021.

Selena Gomez Was Spotted on a Yacht with Andrea Iervolin

Selena Gomez's holiday at the beginning of August 2022 got people talking after she was spotted hanging out with some friends in Italy. Among those friends was Italian filmmaker and businessman Andrea Iervolino, who many quickly thought was her new boyfriend.

During the fun-filled day, Gomez and Iervolino chatted and held hands as he helped her get into the water. Her facial expression showed that Selena was having a great time as she was ever smiling. The actress looked fabulous in a black swimsuit showing her magnificent figure.

The duo was starring on the Disney Channel back then, and fans expected them to have a happy-ever-after, but all good things must come to an end.

Andrea Iervolino, Famous Producer and a Businessman

Although he is not a household name in the same mold as many of Selena Gomez's exes, the Italian beau can hold his own. In the movie industry, the producer reportedly produced his first movie, "The Cavalier of Love," while he was just 15. His debut US film was "The Merchant of Venice," released in 2004.

The now-34-year-old has since been involved in over 65 films and looks set to add many more. He has established and acquired several filmmaking companies, including the LA-based Space 11 Corp. In 2013, he and Monika Bacardi launched the AMBI Media Group, which is heavily involved in filmmaking globally.

His businesses are not limited to movies; he also launched TaTaTu, an online social entertainment platform. Besides his more than 1.3 million followers on Instagram, he has received much professional recognition for his work, including at the Venice Film Festival. In 2018, he was awarded a knighthood by the Italian president.

Selena Gomez's Dating History

Selena Gomez has been involved in several high-profile relationships since she got into the spotlight. Her first notable relationship was with Nick Jonas around 2008. The duo was starring on the Disney Channel back then, and fans expected them to have a happy-ever-after, but all good things must come to an end.

The following year, she got into a fling with "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner. The getting together didn't grow into anything more, as Gomez recalled that they "literally just wanted to hang out." A more serious relationship followed the fling in what is arguably Selena Gomez's most famous relationship thus far.

After months of speculation, Gomez confirmed dating fellow musician Justin Bieber in 2011. What followed was a controversial on-and-off relationship for seven years before they finally called it quits for good. During their offs, Gomez was rumored to have briefly dated other men, including Charlie Puth and Orlando Blooom.

The speculation surrounding Selena Gomez and Andrea Iervolino seems to be just a rumor, as neither of them has confirmed it yet. An insider told US Weekly that the two "are just friends." Selena, for her part, has repeatedly mentioned that she is enjoying being single, which seems like that is still the case.
