Nicole Combs's social media handle has reflected a change in her last name – from Nicole Hocking – since she married her award-winning husband. She currently works as a Recruiting Coordinator for Broadcast Music Inc.; however, she can also join Luke on his tours.

Apart from that job, Nicole is also a social media personality. Her Instagram account had amassed a whopping 1 million followers at the time of publication. Nicole's husband sported a dark-colored suit jacket, a black shirt and bottoms, and dark green boots. In November 2021, she accompanied him to the CMA award ceremony, where Luke was named the Entertainer of The Year. Nicole struggled to find the words that fully encompassed her excitement, saying:

Nicole Started Dating Luke Several Years before They Got Engaged

Nicole and Luke met at the Key West Songwriters Festival in May 2016, when Luke still worked at BMI in Nashville. Nicole was hanging out with friends when she and Luke saw each other and locked eyes across the crowd. She invited him to her group, and they enjoyed the festival together.

Afterward, the couple had their first date, where they found they had shared interests in water sports, fishing, boating, and country music. September 1, 2016, then marked the day they officially began dating. Their bond strengthened as time passed, and Nicole inspired Luke to write his breakthrough hit, "Beautiful Crazy."

Nicole's Wedding Was "The Most Special Day" for Her

On November 30, 2018, Luke announced that he and Nicole were engaged. As he shared the good news, the artist revealed that he'd proposed "a while ago" but thought a picture on their Hawaii vacation was better than one taken in their kitchen.

The couple tied the knot two years later, on August 1, 2020, in an intimate ceremony at their southern Florida home. Despite having their wedding day coincide with the looming threat of a hurricane and having had to wait for the following year to celebrate with friends and family, Nicole described it as the "most special" day of her life.

Nicole Became a Mother in Her Marriage with Luke

On June 19, 2022, Luke Combs – the star who used his success to help his parents – and Nicole became first-time parents to their son, Tex Lawrence. The baby was named after Luke's great uncle, Tex, and Nicole's father, Lawrence. The couple had announced Tex Lawrence's pending arrival in January this year.
