John Stamos became a dad for the first time at 54 and shared an emotional video with the baby.
John Stamos, who became famous for his role as Uncle Jessie on "Full House," became a father quite recently, despite being in his 50s. He had never had children before because of the position he and his wife were in.
Now, Stamos is a father who shares videos with his son on his social media. The most recent video was one of him and his son enjoying a cute moment as Stamos made his son laugh. However, he shared that it was not always that way.
In the video, Stamos is seen blowing on what looks like a napkin and making a noise as if he is sneezing. His son laughs heartily at his father, and Stamos mentions that he did not always feel connected to his son.
While the little man is seen laughing in the video, Stamos shared advice that his "Full House" costar gave him. He shared:
"Bob Saget said, 'Just wait until the first time he laughs at you.'"

Unfortunately, in August 2004, Stamos filed for divorce from his model wife. They announced their separation in April of that year and only filed for divorce months later, but sources close to them revealed they separated amicably.
There was much speculation at the time of their divorce. Still, it was generally assumed that the couple divorced because Stamos wanted to have children and Romjin was not interested in bringing children into their lives.
How Did Stamos Meet the "Disney Girl" Who Made Him a Dad in His 50s?
Stamos once took to Instagram to share how he and his current wife, Caitlin McHugh Stamos, met. The actor said they met on the set of "Law and Order: SVU," where he played a serial reproductive abuser, and she played his victim.
He said their roles required his character to impregnate her character secretly. He then said that seven years later, he finally had his first child with her as his wife and admitted how happy it made him. He said: "My dreams came true 100 times over."
In the post, Stamos called his wife his "Disney Girl" and shared that the photo was of them at Disney Land. He then joked that he loved her even though she made him dress up at Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch."

Stamos and Caitlin now share their son, and it is everything that Stamos has dreamed of for many years. He opened up about his family, gushing:
"I always wanted to have kids, but I didn't think I'd meet the right person."
He admitted that he thought he and Caitlin had a beautiful marriage and a wonderful son because he got sober and became a better person, one who was deserving of the life he now has.
When asked how they kept the magic alive in their relationship with a young son, the couple said they rely on communication, date nights and surprising one another. They also said they don't make their lives all about their child.
