Angela, a Keenwick, Washington native, was born to Alice and Greg Webber on May 29, 1986. After she received her Marketing and Finance degrees from Washington State University, she became a business owner based in Canada.
Angela followed in her father's footsteps as a businessman and founded a women's and children's clothing company, By Angela Price. She later co-founded Line Change, a sports clothing, with another NHL wife, Julie Petry.
More than her career as a fashion entrepreneur, Angela is also a lifestyle influencer, running a blog called By Angela Price. Her personal Instagram account also has a wife reach with hundreds of thousands of followers.
Beyond her career, Angela is passionate about health and fitness, trying to live a balanced and active lifestyle. She opts to have local organic food and be out and about with nature. Angela shared:
"I [used] to say that I wasn't a very passionate person. I [kind of] dabble in a little of everything, and once I get bored, I move on to the next thing that grabs my attention. I never really throw myself wholeheartedly into anything in particular."
Their Mutual Friend Set Them up on a Date
Angela and Carey met through a mutual friend when he was still with the Tri-City Americans. They were set up on a date where they shared a meal. Angela also attended his game that weekend and was sadly blamed for being bad luck when they lost.
Nevertheless, Carey pursued Angela and had a romantic relationship with her for nearly eight years. The couple took their relationship up a notch in 2012 with their engagement. On August 24, 2013, the pair tied the knot in Washington.
Three years later, on May 7, Carey and Angela became first-time parents to Liv Anniston. Their second child, Millie, was born on December 28, 2018, while their youngest, Lincoln, came on October 23, 2020.
The Media Ruined Their First Baby Announcement
When Carey and Angela first learned of the pregnancy with Liv, they prepared to announce the good news in April. Unfortunately, a blogger and reported shared the information on Twitter a day before the expecting parents could.
Angela shared her sentiments on social media, noting that a once-in-a-lifetime moment was stolen from them. According to CBC, Angela said:
"That was disrespectful, tasteless, and just plain cruel. [...] But why would a first-time mother and father want to be the ones to announce this big news when heartless media can do it for you?"
Several hockey stars have made news in the past, including NHL's Luke Prokop, who previously opened up about his sexuality on social media, coming out as the first active gay player in the league. Prokop was proud to tell the world his true identity and was happy with his decision.
Following his coming out story, Prokop received an overwhelming amount of love and support from friends, fans, and the Nashville Predators Organization. The Predator's president went as far as to ensure everyone that Prokop was comfortable in his career regardless of his sexuality.
