Tatum Christopher Bryan Looks Like Dad Yet Has Mom’s Personality - Get To Know Luke Bryan’s Second Son

Tatum Christopher Bryan is the son of country singer and "American Idol" judge Luke Bryan. While fans have commented that the boy looks like his father, he seems to have inherited most of his personality traits from his mother.

Tatum Christopher Bryan, Luke Bryan's second son, was born on August 11, 2010. Luke, one of today's most famous country music singers, shares Tatum with his wife, Caroline Boyer Bryan. As a baby, his family noted Tatum's relaxed and calm disposition.

Tatum, fondly called "Tate," never gave his parents much trouble when he was little. Tatum received overflowing love from his dad, mom, older brother, Thomas "Bo" Bryan, and his adopted siblings.

Tatum is Luke's mini-me, and the country singer's fans have noticed their similarities. In 2019, Luke posted an old picture of his Nashville-born son on Instagram when he was nine years old, and fans were blown away by their resemblance.

One user commented that Tatum was a handsome boy who inherited his good looks from his famous father, while another adored the lad's cuteness. Tatum did get one thing from his mother, though.

In contrast to Luke's gregarious personality, Tatum seems to enjoy looking at things from his perspective. Luke's wife revealed that Tatum has a similar nature as hers, adding:

"He likes to be in the background, and that's exactly how I am. I don't wanna be [in the] front and the center."

The fact that Caroline was a lot like Tatum was never something she tried to hide. She wrote a cute post on Instagram for her second son's 12th birthday, describing him as her "shadow" and her "Thunder Buddy."

She also posted a collection of pictures of Tatum as a child, in which he was doing all kinds of silly things. Tatum's beautiful mother joked about how sorry she was that her son inherited her genes.

Caroline also shared a snap of herself and Tatum in front of a mirror, demonstrating their quirkiness. They made funny faces, and Luke's wife raved about how much Tatum acted like her.

Tatum Christopher Bryan Enjoys Outdoor Activities

Tatum and his family have spent much time outdoors. Tate's interest in fishing was instilled in him at a young age by his father, who made no secret that he enjoyed the activity.

If the opportunity comes, Tatum, his older brother Bo, and Caroline will accompany Luke on his out-of-town music tours.

During a week of fishing, Luke posted a photo of his son's first shoal bass catch on Instagram. He also paid tribute to Tatum's 12th birthday by sharing another picture of him beaming while holding a fish.

According to his father, Tatum felt happy to spend time fishing and riding on a boat with his family. Caroline also shared that Tatum's other favorite thing with his family was going skiing.

There was never a dull moment when Tatum and his family went on vacation. His mother shared a funny video of him getting stuck in a toddler's swing because of his playful nature.

Tatum Christopher Bryan Often Joins His Dad on the Road

One of the advantages of having a famous singer as a parent is the chance to travel and share the stage. If the opportunity comes, Tatum, his older brother Bo, and Caroline will accompany Luke on his out-of-town music tours.

Tatum and Bo went to Luke's concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Their father posted a picture of them on stage and said that the stadium had changed his life. He thanked his sons for coming with him.

Luke said it feels like home when his family joins him on tour. Aware of his father's busy schedule, Tatum would try to stay in touch with his dad as much as possible.

Luke spends his weekends with his family and also makes time with them when he's on tour. If Luke's children cannot accompany him on the trip, they will communicate through FaceTime.

After Tatum's aunt and uncle died, his parents cared for his cousin, making the Bryan household full of love and laughter. Kelly Bryan Cheshire, Tatum's aunt and Luke's sister died in 2007.

Tatum's uncle and Kelly's husband, Ben Cheshire, died in 2014. Luke and Caroline Boyer Bryan took in the late couple's children, Jordan, Kris, and Tilden Cheshire. Caroline never gave it a second thought to adopt them.

Caroline also said she and her husband never sat down to discuss what they should do next because they just did it. Bryan said they are glad they did the right thing by adopting his sister's children.
