Josephine Becker Studied at Harvard & Already Worked as a Top Executive – Facts about Vera Wang's Youngest Daughter
Josephine Becker is the youngest daughter of high fashion designer and legend Vera Wang and her former husband, Arthur Becker. The intelligent lady graduated from one of the world's most prestigious universities and already boasts a successful career.
Her mother, Vera Wang, is one of the world's most notable fashion designers. Her wedding gowns have been worn by A-list celebrities such as Alicia Keys, Kim Kardashian, and Mariah Carey. Her fashion journey began after she failed to make the USA figure skating Olympics team and went to college instead.
Josephine somewhat followed her mother's early footsteps by enrolling in college before kick-starting her professional career. However, unlike her mother, she prefers to stay out of the spotlight, although she has accompanied her mother to several public appearances.

Josephine Is of Eurasian Descent
Josephine was born on September 14, 1993. Although her place of birth is not known in the public domain, she is of Eurasian origin, the same as her older sister, Cecilia, who was born three years earlier in 1990. The siblings were both adopted as Wang wished to have children.
Wang and Arthur had been married for four years when they adopted Josephine, and she spent her childhood and teenage years with the couple. However, in her final year as a teenager, her parents decided to part ways after 23 years of marriage.
Still, after her parents' divorce, the family remained close. This was helped by the continued good relationship between Wang and Arthur, who also continued to play significant roles in their children's lives.

Josephine Becker Was Educated at an Ivy League University
Like her mother, Josephine went the college route. She studied at Havard University starting in 2012 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2016. She furthered her studies by enrolling at the prestigious Havard Business School in 2020, where she attained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2022.
After graduation, she held various positions at Authentic Brands Group, a company responsible for brand development, marketing, and entertainment. Her roles included being an Analyst, Associate, Director, and Vice-President, all in the Merger and Acquisitions department of the company.
Since leaving Authentic Brands in 2020, she interned at NBC for three months in 2021 and recently became the Director of the Rotational Leadership program and Comcast. Wang, who believes one must be passionate about their work to make the best out of it, must be proud that her child has chosen her own career path.

Josephine Is Private but Attends Events with Her Mother
Despite her mother's popularity, Josephine generally lives a life away from the glitz and glamour. Her career choice also shows that she has chosen a quieter life than her mother -- even her Instagram account is private. However, Josephine has been making public appearances since childhood.
One of her earliest public outings was at the premiere of "Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace" with her parents in New York. She was six years old at the time. On another occasion, Anna Wintour requested that Vera Wang bring her daughters to where they were sitting at the CFDA Awards in 2005.
The frequency of their public appearances together has continuously become less as Josephine has grown older. That is why her accompanying her mother to the USA open in 2022 drew considerable attention from fans. The duo seems to be tennis fans, as they were also spotted visiting Wimbledon together in the same year.
What's It like to Be the Daughter of a Fashion Designer?
Although her father was initially the one who motivated Wang to get into making bridal wear and, ultimately, other outfits, the fashion icon also gives credit to her daughters, Josephine and Cecilia Becker, for their influence on her.
One of the things that her daughters inspired her to do was to begin designing and manufacturing low-end fashion that is less expensive but still good enough to give expensive clothes a real reason to justify their exorbitant prices.
The two daughters inspire their mother, but like mama's kids, they still get some fashion advice from her, and who better to give you recommendations than one of the world's topmost fashion designers?
In their younger years, her mother didn't have to make recommendations but would buy clothes for Josephine and her sister if she thought they would look good. That said, Josephine seems capable of dressing fashionably by herself, and her mother admitted that she liked how her children dressed.
