Despite having a famous father, Pitbull's children and their identities have been shielded from the spotlight. However, the Spanish-language rapper proved he was a doting parent after he had two of his six kids' faces and dates of birth tattooed on his arms.

After breaking into the music industry with chart-topping songs like "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" and "Time of Our Lives," it didn't take long for the rapper, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, to become a household name.

However, while he has a handful of well-known singles, very little is known about Pitbull's personal life. The Miami-born rapper is rumored to have welcomed six kids, and after a relationship that stretched over a decade, he shared two of them with a woman named Barbara Alba.

The "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" singer grew up in a rough neighborhood in Miami, which saw him turn to drug dealing by the time he was 17. His father was a drug and alcohol addict, and with the help of his mother, Pitbull turned his life around.

He avoided the dark path he was headed down and recalled his mother saying, "I don't want to see you until you figure out what you're going to do." Her tough love changed his life, and he aspires to be an inspiration to his kids, as his mother was for him.

Pitbull and Alba welcomed their first child, Destiny Perez, on August 15, 2002. On May 3, 2003, their family grew when their son, Bryce Perez, was born, and Pitbull had portraits of their baby pictures tattooed on his arms.

As for the rest of his children, the rapper has kept their names and their mothers' names under wraps for years. While Destiny and Bryce are 20 and 19, Pitbull's other children are believed to be younger, with their ages ranging from three to thirteen.

And as a renowned musician with business opportunities like a stake in a Nascar team, Pitbull has garnered a fortune that allows him to keep his children out of the spotlight while providing them with a comfortable life.

The Mother of Two of His Kids

Fans have theorized that Pitbull has multiple baby mamas, and his four children were born after his long-term relationship with Alba.

Pitbull and Alba parted ways in 2011, and as his children were born a few years after he made his debut on the music scene, the rapper was paying Alba around $ 3,000 in child support.

After his career took off, according to reports, Alba took Pitbull to court in 2014 for an increase in child support. However, according to Alba's lawyer, the two exes did not leave things on a sour note. Her lawyer said:

Pitbull Had an "Old-School Mentality" about Women

Alba was Pitbull's last-known relationship, and unlike fellow rapper ASAP Rocky and his public relationship with Rihanna, Pitbull has since kept pursed lips about his love life.

The rapper has become notorious for his saying, "(I'm) single, bilingual, and ready to mingle," but did reveal what he was looking for in a woman.

At the forefront of his preferences for romantic relationships was transparency. The "Time of Our Lives" rapper said he looked for a relationship where he could be honest with his partner about his needs – sexual and otherwise.

For him, the best kind of relationship was one where he could be open, and he and his partner spoke about their fantasies. "More than a girlfriend or a wife, I want a friend," he noted.

He classified himself as a gentleman with a "very solid, old-school mentality" when it came to how he treated the women he was dating. Pitbull said:

"A woman wants to feel protected and provided for, but at the same time, she wants to feel like a woman."

The rapper proved that chivalry was not dead, as he would open doors for his dates and allowed his partners to order first.
