Serafina Simone Maniscalco is the daughter of the American actor and comedian Sebastian Maniscalco. The comedian's daughter is a source of happiness in her parents' lives.

On Friday, May 12, 2017, the comedian took to Instagram with validated excitement to announce the birth of his first child, Serafina Simone Maniscalco, 5. The 49-year-old comedian plays Joe Gallo in "The Irishman." He has two children with his wife of nine years, artist Lana Gomez.

Together they hosted a baby shower in April 2017—An anticipatory celebration of their then-unborn child. During the pregnancy, the pair learned that their incoming family member would be a female. This allowed the couple to select her significant name, which they kept a secret until the baby was delivered.

Serafina Simone Maniscalco's Name Has a Special Meaning

Sebastian shared a post on Instagram disclosing Serafina's birth. The five-year-old was named Serafina, in honor of Sebasitians's late grandmother, and given Simone, Lana's mother's name, as a middle name. She shares a name with her grandparent.

The couple, who married on August 24, 2013, did not meet conventionally. They became acquainted through a mutual personal trainer at a gym they attended. The Jewish-born painter had jokingly rejected Sebastian. However, they soon got together and have remained committed ever since.

Serafina was their first child, but she became an older sister in June 2019. The comedian shared a picture to Instagram showing Serafina snuggling with her newborn brother, Caruso Jack Maniscalco. When pregnant with Serafina, Lana was 44 years old and had her son almost two years later.

Little Serafina Is Already Amusing Her Parents

The birth of Serafina came as a blessing to her parents. They are proud parents of their baby girl, who is quite the entertainer. She sometimes plays hairdresser with her baby brother and father. The comedian has a close bond with his daughter, who came on stage during a performance for the first time in Toronto, Canada. Lana shared a picture of herself and Serafina captioned:

Her father, Sebastian, also shared some content on his social media, showing a humorous interaction between him and Serafina. The toddler humorously complained about the tedious wait for her mother, who was at a farmer's market. Serafina hilariously exaggerates the time they spent waiting.

Sebastian spoke on Live with Kelly and Ryan about how he did not have the opportunity to partake in illustrious celebrations as a child and sometimes had to breathe life into his party as a child.

Serafina Receives an Allowance Every Week

Serafina is a convenient helper around the couple's Beverly Hills home. The toddler does not shy away from a task. Her father gives her duties to fulfill around the house. Sebastian shared a video on Instagram showing Serafina listing her chores while she washed the dishes.

During the lockdown in 2020, Serafina began baking with her dad to stay productive. He admitted that he rewards Serafina weekly for completing her chores around the house. Her list of duties includes making her and her brother's bed daily. The toddler is of great help to her busy father, who stars in "The Irishmen" with Robert De Niro.

Santa Came to Serafina's Birthday Party in May

Christmas came early for Serafina this year. Santa Clause tripped to Beverly Hills to spend her birthday party with her. The family has a lot of love for Christmas. They go all out in their celebration, so much so that the family was dressed in creative Christmas costumes last year.

Lana and Sebastian enjoy celebrating holidays. Sebastian spoke on Live with Kelly and Ryan about how he did not have the opportunity to partake in illustrious celebrations as a child and sometimes had to breathe life into his party as a child.

His wife and daughter are Jewish, but the comedian's parents would not ease up on their demands of getting Serafina baptized. He told the story during a stand-up show about how his parents would not let it slide and sent laughs through the audience about the time he learned how to clean his daughter's nose.

The joyous family has been tight-knit and entertaining to the fans of Sebastian's humor. Their little angel, Serafina, has grown up bright and productive, bringing jot to her proud parents.

At her young age, she proves to be responsible, taking on chores around the house for a little of her father's change. Although her father employs her, the comedian jokes that he does not cut her any slack when cutting her wages.
