Misty Wolf is a proud mother, and like many parents, she only wanted the best for her child. Little Matthew Wolf didn't have an easy start in life.

Born at just 24 weeks, he spent over 100 days in the NICU. His twin brother didn't survive; doctors said Matthew might never talk or walk. But God had many incredible miracles in store for him!

Santa's Unexpected Actions

Matthew's mom knew life wouldn't always be easy, and she was thankful for every small moment of joy with her son who was blind and was diagnosed with autism.

In December 2018, she was caught off guard by Santa's actions after she told him about her son's condition. She never expected him to react the way he did. Matthew might not have been able to see Santa, but something greater was coming.

Santa wasn't finished giving little Matthew the experience of a lifetime. He proceeded to ask the youngster an unexpected question involving a reindeer.

The Unforgettable Christmas Encounter

After learning that Matthew was blind, Santa didn't think twice before he sat on the floor to be closer to him, displaying the characteristics of a genuinely kind and generous Father Christmas.

The man in the red suit greeted the little boy with excitement and allowed him to pull on his beard as they chatted. Santa described his red suit and permitted the youngster to touch and feel it as he pleased.

The encounter meant the world to Matthew and Misty watched the events in awe. She described a significant moment she would never forget:

"[Santa] asked Matthew if he wanted to feel anything, and Matthew said, 'your eyes that twinkle,' (from the poem 'twas the night before Christmas). So, Santa let him touch all over his eyes for as long as Matthew wanted."

The Best Santa Ever

Santa wasn't finished giving little Matthew the experience of a lifetime. He proceeded to ask the youngster an unexpected question involving a reindeer. He wondered if Matthew had ever felt a real reindeer and quickly carried the boy to their display area.

The little child had fun petting the taxidermy reindeer, and his mother knew he was beaming with excitement and wonder. Misty shared the beautiful moment on Facebook, calling the jolly old man the "best Santa ever."

Three years later, in 2021, Matthew reunited with Santa—this time, his little sister Lilly shared in the extraordinary experience. The magical moments with the siblings made Santa emotional, and he expressed that his heart was full before wishing everyone a merry Christmas.
