Jennifer Coolidge is a seasoned American actress and comedian. She gained recognition through her performances in "American Pie" and "Legally Blonde" in the early 2000s. Coolidge is a familiar face in comedic films and improvisational theatre—a face that she altered over time.

The comedian had her fair share of alteration to her face, largely unsuccessfully. She has a love-hate relationship with plastic surgery, partially expressing a dislike for some of her surgery results while constantly revisiting surgeons for a tweak.

Coolidge says that Los Angeles is now the plastic surgery mecca, where people walk around looking like their eyeballs were scooped out. She calls this look "Ice cream scoop eyes."

Injections are a standard tool in plastic surgery procedures. The comedian mentioned that the injections are growing weirder with time. When asked about the bizarre work people do to their faces, "The Groundlings" actress said, "They add lard to your face." She added, "It can almost look like a stroke."

Jennifer Coolidge Likened Her Smile to a Clown's Face after Her Plastic Surgery

Coolidge has done work on her face to refresh her aging features. She feels happy that the surgery has helped remove some blemishes, like a line across her forehead that bothered her. After highlighting the upside to surgery, she mentioned how she finds her doctored smile to be "creepy," then added:

"Then I'll be on the phone with a girlfriend, and I'll just look up (at a mirror) and see myself smiling by accident, and I go, 'What the (expletive) is that? It's not even human.'"

The comedian finds that celebrities visit the same surgeons for similar surgeries but receive contrasting results. She describes the impressive plastic surgery done on actress Jaclyn Smith—a surgeon's wife, as a fluke. Coolidge added that the results don't always pan out as expected, even after finding credible surgeons.

A younger Coolidge showed her conflicted relationship with specific procedures when she ridiculed the results of many celebrities' lip jobs. Comparing the look to a squid stuck onto their faces, she suggested she would get the same work done in her sixties.

Jennifer Coolidge Felt Bad for Women with Plastic Surgeries Gone Wrong, but She Couldn’t Fault Them for It

Plastic surgery is something you can rarely undo. Coolidge's heart goes out to the girls who have their careers snatched from their grip due to a botched job. She sympathizes with the female entertainers who pay steep prices and leave with a permanently lousy look.

The actress recalls the regret that overwhelmed her when she watched her career's highlights before receiving a "Faith Hubley Career Achievement Award."

The actress does not point the shaming finger at women who attempt to rejuvenate their youthful features. She admits she is a hypocrite for pointing out the ills of plastic surgery while planning to get work done even at the time of the admission. Jennifer added that balding men replace their scalps with that of corpses'.

Jennifer Coolidge's Plastic Surgery Affected the Roles She's Offered

Coolidge has had a lengthy career, working among Hollywood legends like Will Ferrel, Nicholas Cage, Sarah Jessica Parker, and others.

She does not particularly appreciate the direction filmmakers propelled her into as an actress with altered features.

The actress recalls the regret that overwhelmed her when she watched her career's highlights before receiving a "Faith Hubley Career Achievement Award." She said, "All I could think of is that I should have stopped at "American Pie." I didn't need to be all these other fat-faced ladies."

Coolidge is instantly recognizable for her role as Seann William Scott's character, "Stifler's" mother, in the coming-of-age comedy, "American Pie." Throughout her career that began in the 80s, most of the roles offered to Coolidge represent the character of a plastic-surgery-crazy woman with a wealthy spouse—never the lead role.
