Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell 'Trim the Tree' & Cook a 'Big Meal' While Spending Time with Family at Christmas
Actress and dancer Goldie Hawn and her husband were spotted doing their Christmas shopping. The couple is very close to their family, so the holidays are filled with family traditions, eating big meals, and reading Christmas stories.
Christmas shopping is underway for Goldie Hawn and her partner Kurt Russel. The two were seen on their separate shopping trips.
Hawn was spotted in Aspen, Colorado, waving and smiling while holding shopping bags. Russel was seen the day before doing his shopping.
The actress kept her fashion in sync with the Aspen weather, wearing a fur-trimmed coat, black puffer pants, and brown winter boots.
She kept her hair simple and let it down with bangs covering her forehead and a bit of makeup. Her partner wore a blue flannel shirt, a green vest, and winter boots and finished the look with a cowboy hat. Fans were in love with the family and gushed over how beautiful they looked, and could not stop raving about their fashion.
Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell Keep Christmas Traditions for Family
Christmas is about showering each other with gifts, holding up family traditions, and being around loved ones. Russel and Hawn are big fans of holiday traditions; on Christmas Eve, they trim the tree and share a big meal together.
Then their grandchildren change into pajamas and hang their stockings over the fireplace. From there, things get cozy as the fire starts going and one of the grandchildren reads the famous Christmas story "Twas the Night before Christmas."
Russel's stepson Oliver Hudson said on Christmas morning, Santa shows up with presents. They usually know he has arrived when the bells start ringing, and "The children lose their minds" as they come down to see what they have received, said Oliver.
Once they make it down, they will see Santa from a distance as he leaves. Hawn said she does not have a favorite holiday dish but loves to make something fresh, and Russel will take care of the meat.

Besides their beautiful Christmas traditions, the couple loves their role as grandparents and loves to be with them during the holidays.
They Adore Being Grandparents
If there's one thing Russel and Hawn love is to be with their grandchildren, they recently had one more addition to their brood and are now grandparents of seven.
The couple is said not to be afraid to get down and dirty to play with their grandkids. Some activities include ping pong, badminton, and many more games.
Their children have also described them as loving and doting grandparents who always have the door open for the grandchildren.
Oliver even added that Hawn and Russel are not only great with the children but also good role models for them, teaching their grandkids the importance of family. The couple also lives close to them.
Hawn said that being a grandmother was "an incredible" joy and that her family was utterly important to her, so she would not trade their close relationship for anything.
