Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas were reminiscing about the 2008 Disney Channel movie "Camp Rock" when they brought Demi on stage. Demi, who played Mitchie Torres in the film, shared the spotlight with the brothers in a performance that stirred memories for long-time fans.

Demi posted a carousel of photos and clips from the night on Instagram, including moments holding hands and sharing a kiss with her husband, musician Jutes, in an elevator. One image showed her smiling while hugging Joe on stage. She captioned the post, "hey siri play this is me by mitchie torres [sic]."

Joe also shared a post featuring stunning visuals from the night, showing scenes with his brothers and his on-stage reunion with Demi.
On TikTok, Demi posted clips from rehearsals with Joe and a video of the two lip syncing to fellow Disney star Debby Ryan's "Sat Down with the President of Disney Channel" speech.
The reunion quickly sparked online discussion about Demi's appearance. On Reddit, one person wrote, "She's had so much work done I didn't recognize her." Another said, "she doesn't look that different from her camp rock days. she just lost weight and seems to have gotten lip filler [sic]."

A third person commented that Demi appears largely the same as in her youth, noting that changes in hair, makeup, weight, age, and possible minor touchups explain any differences in her look.
Another added, "honestly didn't recognize wither of them.. crazy how different they look [sic]." One person observed, "Something about Demi Lovato's face that looks different and I can't figure it out [sic]."

On Facebook, reactions were also strong. One person penned, "They both look STUNNING!!" Another opined, "She looks fabulous."
Instagrammers shared similar sentiments. "She's gorgeous! Looks really good! Happy for her!" one comment read. Another fan gushed, "Im [sic] here drooling at how stunning she looks." A third person expressed, "Demi looks amazing!!!"
As the tour got underway, Joe previewed the format and tone. He told People on June 22, 2025, "We're going to build a show with our audience, so we're rehearsing pretty much onstage and playing some of these older songs that we haven't played in so many years and see how they respond and what they want to hear."
Meanwhile, Joe and Demi's onstage moment also reflects a long shared history. In May 2010, People reported that Joe, then 20, and Demi, then 17, had ended their relationship but planned to tour together that summer.
The pair went public in March 2010 after first meeting on the "Camp Rock" set in 2007; Demi toured with The Jonas Brothers the following year (2008).

Years later, Joe described their continued connection. In August 2016, he told E! News, "She's family. We've known Demi for so many years. We've performed with her, toured with her. She's just incredible."
Joe also explained that there were no hard feelings between them. "It's not always the case. Sometimes you have to know when to fold the cards. I don't think of [Demi] as an ex. We're really good friends. We've gone through so much together and we're really close now."

Beyond her music and public appearances, Demi has been open about personal challenges. She has spoken candidly about her recovery journey and the ongoing work it takes to maintain her health.
On the "Podcrushed" podcast with Penn Badgley, she revealed, "I have a treatment team that I work with that helps me stay in recovery. I've been in recovery from bulimia for about five, going on six years now. I'm trying to learn body acceptance rather than body positivity, because body positivity feels like I can't even reach that yet. I have to work on body acceptance [and] body neutrality because that feels like a goal I can reach."
She shared that her team includes a nutritionist and a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. She works with them on body-image sessions and said she uses basic affirmations to build confidence.
Demi's reunion with The Jonas Brothers, particularly Joe Jonas, connected the tour's nostalgia with her personal and professional journey.
