Janet came from a wealthy family and wanted the perfect wedding with all the extravagant details money could buy. However, things went wrong for the materialistic bride after she mocked a server in charge of the wedding preparations.

The bridal bouquet had to be calla lilies! The wine counter had to be the most exquisite, and Janet had hired the most expensive designers to make her the most perfect and gorgeous wedding gown.

The only daughter of a millionaire businessman and a famous interior designer, Janet was obsessed with money, beauty, and perfection. Her middle-class fiancé never understood why he fell for her, but it just happened.

Harry was head over heels in love with her and couldn't imagine marrying anyone else. So he saved all of his money and bought the most beautiful ring he could afford for her. Janet's eyes lit up when he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, and she said yes…

"We stand nowhere close to her family, and I think you should reconsider marrying someone like her, son," Harry's mother told him after she met Janet.

Harry's parents realized Janet was too materialistic and didn't respect the values dear to them. But Harry seemed adamant about marrying her.

"I love Janet, Mom," he told his mother. "I agree she's a bit of a perfectionist and extravagant, but she'll fit in with us. Trust me."

Being kind and generous matters more than being wealthy.

"I'm afraid that might not happen, son," his father chimed in. "That girl is too obnoxious, and I hope you don't regret your marriage with her."

"Let's trust her, ok, Dad?" Harry told his parents. "Everything will be perfect. I believe in her."

But sadly, nothing was perfect! As the wedding day approached, Janet was more and more nervous. She wanted the wedding to be perfect, so she arranged for the best vendors and the most extravagant wedding hall and personally paid attention to every minute detail.

So when she noticed a minor flaw in the preparations, it took her no time to lose her cool.

"How can you not get the flowers I ordered? I need to talk to your manager, and if things go this way, I might have to cancel the contract!"

"This is awful! Do you guys want to embarrass my family in front of the guests? Take those decorations down, and I want it to be redone!"

"For Christ's sake, please tell the designers that I'm paying for the bridesmaid's dresses too, and I want them to be absolutely perfect! Nothing less, alright?"

Janet was panicking, changing minute details and themes just a few days before the wedding and complicating it for the workers, who were working day and night to make her wedding day the best for her.

A heartless her didn't realize how hard it was for the workers to put up with her irritating demands. So when a server made a small mistake on her wedding day, Janet's anger knew no bounds.

"How the hell could you be so incompetent and ruin my wedding cake? This is ridiculous!" she yelled at the server, who had damaged the wedding cake while carrying it to the kitchen. "The guests are in the hall, and what am I supposed to do? Feed them a ruined cake?"

"I'm sorry," said the server. "I didn't mean to… I didn't even touch it… It… It was an accident!"

"An accident?" hissed Janet. "Today's my wedding day! Nobody cares about your accident and awful apology! YOU ruined my wedding day and cake!"

"Look, ma'am," said the server's boss. "Our guys have tried our best, ok? It was just an accident. We did our best to make everything perfect for you."

"Oh, for Christ's sake, you need to stop that! Your best just isn't good enough! You're all incompetent!"

Janet wouldn't stop mocking the server and his team about how they had ruined her day. The servers were apologetic for the terrible mistake they'd made, but they lost it when Janet continued to humiliate them ruthlessly.

"WE ARE SORRY, OK?" the boss finally said. "But, ma'am, we won't tolerate being disrespected this way! We worked hard to make your wedding a success, and we are not going to work in an environment where we aren't treated with kindness and dignity! WE QUIT!"

With that, the servers' boss removed his apron and walked out, and his team followed suit. Janet was terrified as she watched them leave.

"Wait, you can't leave me like this!" she cried. "We… we need to do something about the cake!"

But nobody listened to her worries. They all walked out one by one, leaving her with the ruined cake. Janet didn't know what to do and sank to the floor, crying.

"My wedding… it… it just got ruined!" she sobbed, picturing how embarrassing it would be to serve a ruined cake to the guests.

Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice behind her say, "Get up! You're gonna ruin your makeup if you keep crying."

Janet wiped her tears and looked behind. She saw it was the server she had humiliated earlier. He said he would do his best to save her wedding and began fixing the cake.

"It's my fault, so I should fix it. Can you hold the guests for like 20 mins? I swear, I'll somehow get it fixed."

"Thank you…" Janet said shyly. "I'm sorry about—"

"There's still time for that. Please leave me alone for 20 mins. I'll get the cake to the hall, alright?"

Janet nodded and left the kitchen, trusting the server to save her wedding day. And he did as he promised.

Soon after, he entered the wedding hall with the cake on a trolley, and it looked perfect! Nobody could guess it was the same cake that was ruined.

"Thank you so much!" Janet told the server as he brought it to her. "I apologize for my behavior."

The server smiled. "I appreciate your apology, but," he paused. "I think the guys on my team would appreciate it too… After all, I'm not the only one who worked hard for your wedding. Congratulations. Your wedding was not ruined."

Janet was very embarrassed about what she had done. So she took the mic before slicing the cake and sincerely apologized to the staff she had been rude to. She said she had been panicking too much about everything and was wrong to humiliate the workers.

In the end, the guests loved the cake, and Janet met the workers and staff who had worked hard for her wedding, thanking them. And Janet's wedding was, well, perfect.
